RICK'S P.O.V

"All right listen up as you all know it was me who gave the girl the transmitter so it is my job to find her and you have all volunteered to help which means you follow my orders," I say to a room of cops and detectives.

"Question," said one of the officers.

"Shoot," I said.

"Do we know what or who we're dealing with?" He said.

"I'm hoping it's just some psychotic kidnapper who wants to keep a girl all to himself there is also a high possibility that the girl is also with her sister which means that we have two primary objectives the girl and her sister you all know what they look like and you know where we going so any other questions," I said and not a single hand went up.

"Good grab what you need we move out in ten," I said as they all moved to grab their guns and whatever else they need ten minutes later and we are all piling into trucks and cars.

"Now you all know the play 4 teams the first tow will cover all exits and surround the house the third will go in hard and fast you will restrain anyone you see, you know what the girls look like so do not restrain them treat them with care. The last team your priority is the two girls find them and get them out ASAP" I said on the com to all the cops.

KAITLIN'S P.O.V

"So you really think that someone will come for us," Chloe said.

"Aren't I supposed to be the one that is distrusting of you in this situation?" I said.

"I said I had to do it," Chloe said.

"And I said Depending on your answer depends on how long it will tack for me to forgive you but forgive you or not my feelings will not change and I doubt they ever will," I said looking at her.

"So my answer wasn't good enough is that it," Chloe said.

"Not a bad way of looking at it," I said hating, saying it.

"But you still feel the same way about me?" Chloe said.

"Yes I still love you that's not going to change ever so for now we can work on you regaining my trust and forgiveness," I said.

"Can you tell me how I do that?" She said.

"Let me think," I said.

RICK'S P.O.V

"Group one and tow are ready and waiting sir," Said one of the men over the com.

"Anything out of the ordinary something we should know before we go in," I say.

"Negative" He replied.

"All right then begin operation.

KAITLIN'S P.O.V

"Any one of those will be a good start," I said.

Suddenly we both hear a door above us blast open and hordes of loud men shouting from what I can make out something like "get down on the ground" there is then a short break of silence and then gunfire to be returned by multiple gunfires then a man falls to the ground yelling in pain. Then there are lots of more gunfire and boots moving around and yelling until it stops and I hear one say "All clear we'll begin the search for the girls" And then they start turning over tables and moving furniture around. The door leading to our cell as I prefer to call is kicked down then men in all-black body armour pour in with guns and flashlights scanning the room. The flashlights then land on us and I winces and turn away at the brightness of the light they lower their guns and one puts his hand to his ear. "Targets found sir there alive," He said as some of the others went over to remove our chains but they can't they say to sand back and then he shoots our chains to free us. They lead us up the stairs and I look around at the house and it looks more like termites holding hands than a wood house as we leave I see one of the guys being put into the truck the one that left his so-called mark on Chloe. I walk up to him fast and then when I am close enough I punch him square in the face he reals back and falls as I rejoin Chloe and get into the car that I assume will take us home.

"Do me a favour for once just try and stay out of trouble?" Said the guy in the passenger seat like we are meant to know him.

"And you are?" I say.

"Right," He said as he turns around taking an earpiece out.

"Rick," I say not knowing why I'm surprised.

"Your knight in shining armour," He said.

"My hero" I mocked.

"Now I know you two want to go home," He said.

"WE DO," We said in unison.

"Ok ok but we need to tell us all you can about those two guys," He said.

"Fine but we'll only give you five minutes," I say then Chloe whispered in my ear.

"And we want a look at the evidence," I say.

"Why the evidence?" Rick said.

"One of those guys stole something from her before she moved here and we want it back," I said.

"Deal," Rick said as a guy got in and started the car.

As we drive back it's get's darker and darker and Chloe falls asleep on my shoulder I then rest my head on hers and fall asleep myself later I am woken up by Rick shaking me. I get out and stretch and then follow him into the station with Chloe close behind as we get in a man comes up to Rick and he looks ready to tear him a new one he then spots us behind him.

"Good job kid," He said patting Rick on the shoulder.

Later in one of the interrogation rooms, we tell Rick our story and how long we think we were down there along with everything that we can remember about the two guy's in the masks.

"Well, that's all we remember we were too focused on whether they were going to kill us at some point to notice anything of genuine importance," I said as Rick took down the last thing I said regarding our kidnapping.

"I see well thank you I'll have someone tack you home while I file this report away," Rick said getting up ready to leave.

"Hold it our deal," I said.

"Oh right the evidence follow me," He said.

"Why are trying to get that egg back for me?" Chloe whispered to me.

"When we get it back you'll see but for now trust me follow my lead, after all, we will need a way to tell our parents what happened either that or take a copy of the police report," I said smiling at her in an I got this way.
