Chapter 12

"Why is this house so big?" Yoongi groaned taking careful steps in the dark.

"We need to find Y/N." Jungkook said.

"It's pitch black and the house is huge." Jin pointed out. "How are we going to find her?"

"Y/N!" Taehyung shouted making them all flinch.

"Seriously?" Hoseok said to himself.

There was a sound of groaning and rustling coming from down the corridor. They fell silent, "Coincidence?" Hoseok whispered.

There was more rustling before they heard a female voice. "Jungkook?"

"The ghost wants kookie!" Taehyung hissed.

"It's always the youngest." Jin pointed out laughing.

"Stop." Jungkook warned them. "I'll go ahead." He cleared his throat and continued walking.

"And there goes our defence." Yoongi sighed.

"What do you mean defence?" Namjoon groaned.

"You know well enough that he's the only one that'll actually fight." Yoongi snickered.

"I could fight." Namjoon whispered.

"Over a book." He scoffed.

"Could we focus on the task at hand?" Jimin chuckled.

Jungkook POV

'It had to be me.' I scolded myself, at this point the walls were my guide. I'm so glad she doesn't keep things in her corridor.

"Jungkook?" I heard Y/N's voice.

"Where are you?" I hissed.

"Down here." I heard her groan.

I felt the wall and found a door with a staircase. "Watch your step." She warned me.

I held the railing and carefully made my way down the stairs. It was even darker down here, but my eyes were starting to adjust.

"If you could pull down the switch to your left the lights will turn back on." She said, her voice seemed to be coming from somewhere below.

"Are you okay?" I asked moving towards her voice.

"Not really." She winced. "Where's everyone else?"

"I don't know. Let me help you then we can turn on the lights." I suggested.

'I hope the others are okay.'

"Ow! You stepped on my foot!" Jin hissed at Namjoon.

"Maybe you should give me space to breathe!" He hissed back.

"Guys, I found a door." Jimin whispered snapping his fingers to get their attention.

They fell quiet and faced what they thought was the door. "So... are we going down there?" Hoseok gulped.

"Jungkook? Y/N?" Namjoon spoke into the darkness.

They heard a faint rustling and grunting from the bottom of the staircase. "Hell no." Yoongi said taking a step back.

The lights came back on and they all covered their eyes. "My eyes!" Taehyung hissed.

They heard a loud thud and looked down the staircase, squinting at the light. They saw Jungkook hovering over Y/N, she seemed to be in pain.

"So you're still alive?" Yoongi groaned rubbing his eyes.
