Y/N POV

My yawn must've woken me up, I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as I tried getting up. Laying sprawled out on my bed, Jennie and Lisa were sound asleep.
I was careful not to wake them as I went to the bathroom. It was warm, or maybe it's because sleeping with the girls made me a portable heater.

I strolled downstairs, hearing movement in the kitchen. Felix was busy scrolling through his phone, his other hand on a mug.
Clearing my throat to get his attention, I walked in to make myself tea.

"Good morning." His voice was laced with exhaustion.

"Good morning." And mine came out deeper than expected.

"Hey that's my thing." He said in a deep voice.

I relaxed at his words. "You can keep it. Did you sleep well?"

A smile formed on his boyish features. "I'm jetlagged. But it was worth it."

I felt bad for telling him on short notice about Tae's birthday surprise. He had to fly in yesterday and only landed last night, he came straight to our house and slept here. Not getting a chance to even sit down, or eat, he went to bed.
And now he's one of the first people to wake up. He's such an early bird, and I'm the night owl.

"I can't thank you enough for coming." My words were honest and came from the heart.

"Anything for my little sister." He gestured that I give him a hug but I frowned inside.

"We're twins." I mumbled against his chest. "I find it weird 'til this day but yeah."

"You'll always be little to me." He stroked my hair. "And nothing will change that."

I felt my heart melt. "How's the in-law?"

I felt him stiffen as the words slipped out of my mouth. "We.... broke up."

"What?" I gave him a look of disapproval. "Don't tell me she dumped you."

He winced. "No, I did the breaking part. It happened so quickly and I wanted to tell you sooner but... the timing wasn't right."

"So much for having a gossip buddy." I pouted.

"What about you?"

I swallowed hard at the words, pulling away from him. "I'm not looking to be in a relationship."

My smile faltered when I met his gaze, he looked sad. Not for himself, but for me. "You can't think like that."

He knew me too well. I didn't want a relationship because I wasn't going to be alive long enough for it to actually last. It would break too many hearts and shed more tears than it's supposed to.
I wasn't willing to go through the whole confession process again, and I'm saving myself from heartbreak and depression.

"You know I can't." My words came out choked. "It's too hard. I don't want to hurt anyone else."

His face was blank, "I promise that you'll find the happiness in your life. And I'll have a mini you to make my minion."

I laughed. "Well, I hope so too."

"Now that we're done with the sappy stuff, can we make something to eat." He smiled widely. "I heard it's the best alarm in this house."

Whoever told him that was a fricking genius. "Let's get to it. Five star Michelin."

"Let's give them our twinly magic, Chef."

By now everyone was awake and eating a light breakfast. Taehyung was complaining about his unpleasant experience just a few hours ago.
