Jungkook POV

I was still chewing on my final bite of food as I walked into the living room.

The world stopped when I saw Namjoon and Y/N sitting next to each other. Namjoon was rocking Fredrick in his arms, and Y/N seemed to be explaining something to him.

Namjoon looked like he had just found gold. I remember how he said he wanted to be a dad so bad. He already started buying baby clothes, it's actually cute.

But my eyes were drawn to Y/N. She looked so gorgeous. Her messy hair caught up into a depressed bun, her glowing skin that looked like it belonged on the cover of Vogue. Her clothes sat loosely on her, making her have that 'girlfriend' look.

I didn't even notice that Namjoon was walking past me. "Don't forget to blink Kookie." As I came back to my senses, I met her gaze.

"Come here Kookie. He's sleeping." She whispered.

I walked up to her and lowered myself on the couch, trying not to wake the sleeping kid.

"Do you want to hold him?" She laid his limp body in my arms before I could think of a response.

He made a gasping kind of noise. "What's he doing?" I began to panick alittle.

She chuckled putting her head on my shoulder. "He's yawning." She stroked his forehead. "He just cooed."

His slow, soft breathing brought me at ease. He was so small and looked so peaceful as he slept.

But my main focus was on Y/N. She was looking at Fredrick so fondly, my heart swelled with admiration. "Do you want kids?"

She looked looked at me her, eyes filled with something unfamiliar. "Someday. With the right person." She was blushing. "But.... it might never happen."

I could see the tears in her eyes. "I want kids too. But I don't think I'll be a great father." I dropped my gaze to the sleeping infant.

She put her hand on my right bicep, I had to ignore the sudden flow of heat that washed over me. "You'll be a great father."

'God, why is she so damn attractive?' "You'll be a great mother." She smiled sweetly. Her gaze searched my face, "They'll be drop-dead gorgeous. Just like their mother."

Her expression softened. I had to stop myself from looking at her lips, but she stole a glance at mine. "Thanks." She giggled shifting in her seat. "Do you really.... mean that?"

"No words can describe you." She blushed even harder. I turned my attention to the baby. Hoping that she doesn't notice my flustered state.

I felt her lips on my cheek. I looked at her and she.... looked slightly embarrassed. "Actions speak louder than words."

My heart has never raced so much before. It only beats this fast after my morning runs, but this is different.

Y/N POV

"So how's work Katherine?" My father spoke into the silence of the dining room.

My parents decided that we have a 'family dinner' while Katherine and Josh were still in the country.

"Still on maternity leave. But I've been keeping myself busy with some of the work I've yet to catch up on."

"It's been slow at the office for awhile but things will eventually get back to normal." Josh cut in giving Katherine a loving smile.
