Couple of drinks

Tomiokas POV
"It's a nice day, maybe I'll go on a walk later." I thought. I always was alone, rather I liked being alone. I rest my head back onto the tree, I close my eyes wanting to relax, only to hear loud laughter come across me.
"Tomioka-San! We're all going out for some drinks later, care to join?" Tengen asked,

"Well, uh No-," I looked behind him, there she was, Kocho Shinbou, I've always thought about her, it was a strange feeling. I really like that feeling though.

"Actually, yeah, I'll go, what time?" I asked with a slight smile.

"Tomioka, was that a smile I just saw?" Shinobu teased.

I turn my head, I blushed. She laughed, along with the other hashira (besides Tokito). "8 pm Tomioka, please be there." Kocho says softly and walked away.

I was happy, I have a chance to be with her, although I'll be drinking with other 7 people, I'd only acknowledge her. "Maybe I'll go on my walk after I come back." I thought with a smile.

At 8 PM Kochos POV

The other Hashira were laughing along, already slightly drunk, especially Mitsuri she's such a lightweight, but He isn't here. I only came because he was as well, and well, he isn't here. I sat there staring at my cup, I jerk my head up at the sound of a door open. He's here.

"Hello, Tomioka~." I greeted him.

"Hey, Shinobu, I apologize for being late..I helped this Old lady down the street." Tomioka said nervously.

He was a kind, pure. This was the reason I fell in love with him. I stared deeply into his beautiful ocean eyes. God I wanted to kiss him, but I couldn't.

"Well, uhm..come get a drink! What's your type? Rum? Whiskey? Beer? Sake? Ooh Tequila?" I smirk.

"He's probably a lightweight, I could imagine him passing out on the 2nd glass."

"Vodka." He says, Out of shock I gasp, that's not a lightweight drink. Not at all.

"I drink on my free time, so I need a stronger drink." He signals to the bartender for a vodka. "Don't be so shocked, it was expected." He smiles.

"Naughty Tomioka, why would you possibly need something so strong, are you here to pick up some ladies?" I asked teasingly.

"No ladies, I just need to be at peace, besides I only have one lady in mind." He said with a genuine smile while looking at Mitsuri.

Tomiokas POV

I look away, I didn't want her to notice me blushing, I didn't want her to find out, but I couldn't help but smile.

"oh, I get it." Kocho said bitterly.

Was something wrong? Did something happen before I got here. She walked away and sat down, she drank her glass and quickly asked for another. I stood there, and then heard a call.

"Tomioka! Come take shots with us." Mitsuri shouted.

I walked over there, with still having my eye on Kocho. I sat next to Mitsuri and Tengen, I smiled, i haven't felt like this in ages.

"We ordered 130 shots! Let's see who can drink the most, don't worry Tomioka we won't be surprised if you lose."

I scoff, they all imagined me as a lightweight, this'll be fun than, maybe I'll get praised for it, I sat up and got ready.
