my lil' butterfly

Kanrojis Mission.

Kanroji readied herself, making sure her sword was working correctly to checking her hair and fixing her bangs. "Okay, so the mission is to talk to Tomioka and direct him to Shinobu!" She said to herself and with that she walked out the door.

She made her way to the butterfly estate as it was in the direction she was heading, When she entered she spotted Giyuu there talking with Shinobu. She wondered what, After all they really weren't on speaking terms or so Shinobu said.

"Tomioka! Are you ready for the mission?" Kanroji said to catch his attention. He turned his head and walked towards her, "Lets be on our way! We've got plenty demons to slay!" She announced excitedly; really she was just trying to get the gossip.

"We're waiting on my Tsugoku, Did you not receive the letter from Oyakata-sama? I'm forced to work with her for the remaining month." He sighed. She was bummed out. It would make it more difficult to get information. "Ah, I must've not... What were you talking to Shinobu about?"

"I accidentally bumped into her." He answered, Kanroji figured getting the drama was gonna be WAY harder. After about 5 minutes or so the Tsugoku arrived. "HI YUU! WE GOT ANOTHER--" Maki stopped in her tracks, "Another...Hashira? Thought it was just gonna be us?" She awkwardly laughed.

"Me and Tomioka were originally planned. You just so happen to come along!" Kanroji in a way to seem as sassy but not obvious enough for Giyuu to catch on. Leaving the estate, they made their way to the top of a mountain. Honestly, it wasn't too far from headquarters so the mission wasn't such a big deal.

The sun was still up and it shined very strong, "Would you like to buy food? I heard you love western." Giyuu asked his acquaintance. "YES! I'D LOVE TOO! HOW DID YOU KNOW TOMIOKA? HOW!"

Giyuu could clearly see her excitement, he was just glad he remembered correctly. "I remember hearing about it...lets eat." And with that, they found a nearby Western restaurant and enjoyed food.

Giyuu and Maki were new to this type of cuisine. Kanroji on the other hand, knew EXACTLY what she wanted. After the very big order, Maki got up and excused herself. The Love Pillar took this opportunity.

"Tomioka, May I ask a few questions?" She asked gently, He nodded in response. "Why haven't you and Shinobu talked lately? Ever since the kamado boys trial." He stopped eating, "Uh... I guess we had a disagreement."

"Why not just talk to her? Disagreements happen all the time!" She said attempting to lean into the apology part. "It was much more than a disagreement, I guess argument. I haven't talked to her because I wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable; especially with everything that was uhm--said."

"Apologize then." She said. "Excuse me?" He said taken aback, "Just apologize. Maybe you guys can talk it out and come to an agreement then. An Apology after a heated argument is always important, Tomioka. Communication is something very important in special friendships like your's and Shino's." She said so softly that she could see the coldness in the mans eyes go away.

"I don't know what to say." He said, now playing with his food. "I've came to my sense that I was in the wrong. But she was so upset that it makes me sad that I thought I was even right. I hurt her feelings and she's probably ashamed of our friendship."

She smiled, she was getting progress, a lot faster than she expected. "You can say what you just mentioned, that you were wrong and that you're regretful that you hurt her feelings. Tomioka you've got it all down. Now you just need the courage to tell her!" He looked at her, "I will...When we come back. Perhaps I can send her a crow for my visit?"

"NO!" She said abruptly. He looked at her, along with the people around her, "Uh, I meant, No! Make it a surprise, it'll be better!" He nodded, "Also Tomioka-"
