A switch of a busy schedule

After Shinobu decided she wasn't gonna let her feelings push her around no more, she finally became her normal self. She went back to helping her patients, she was studying in her lab and finally got some missions.

She was gonna listen to her dream—call her ridiculous if you'd like but she felt as if it was a calling from her dear sister, Kanae. Besides that, she continued with her normal but busy schedule.

Her rooms were filled with patients. Ranging from Tanjiro and his friends to some fellow Pillars. It seems like todays the day everyone decided to get hurt and not tell Shinobu. "My, My, Sanemi. This is a deep wound. You need to be more careful with your demon hunting ways." Shinobu said as she began to bandage his shoulder.

"Tch, It's just a baby cut. I have worser ones if you
couldn't tell. Why do you care anyway?" He said sarcastically. Shinobu rolled her eyes. "I'm simply saying, as your doctor I wouldn't advise you to be so aggressive. You know you waste almost all my supplies because you love bragging to demons about your 'special blood'." She retorted.

"You're just jealous because my blood is SPECIAL and yours isn't!" He cackled. Sanemi and Shinobu have known each other for a while. While Kanae was alive, he'd spend most of his time with her. Kanae being Shinobu's sister would be forced to see him. Eventually, after Kanaes passing they got closer and grieved. He supported her and She supported him. This led to their special sibling bond—one that most people weren't aware of.

As was mentioned earlier, It was a full house. Meaning, some of her fellows were there. Including him. He watched and observed from afar how familiar the two were with each other. The tightness he felt in his stomach wouldn't leave him alone.

Him, Kanroji and Maki were arriving from a mission. It wasn't much difficulty it was just the fatigue that hit them so suddenly. Such a big distraction caught them off-guard and they were attacked from the front resulting in face and chest injuries.

So as he was getting bandaged on his pecs and shoulder he watched his girl, well not his girl, giggle with a companion who hated him. The irritation wouldn't go away. And it definitely wasn't helping that Maki wouldn't be quiet. She kept rambling on how they could've came back without injuries if they were focused and then she was quick to complain that her bandages were too tight.

Giyuu grew VERY annoyed. So as usual, he ignored her and walked away after his wounds were secured or so he assumed. Shinobu finished with sanemi a while ago but she enjoyed their conversation that she stayed longer.

"Alright! Just apply the oil every time you replace the bandages. A smaller cut like yours should fade within 2 weeks." She said as she began to clean up. He nodded, "Yo, I gotta ask. Whats up with you and Tomioka?" He said as he put his shirt on.

"Why do you ask?" She replied, avoiding eye contact. "I dunno. I just don't see you talking to him like before. It's a little weird if you ask me. Here I thought you two were together." Sanemi shrugged. Shinobu blushed slightly at the remark. "We had...a disagreement. Nothing for you to worry about!"

"Right. Did he do something? Do I NEED to talk to him?" Sanemi asked, beginning to seem protective. "N-no! You don't need to do anything. I've got it." She said, "You're dismissed. Just be rational on your next mission." Sanemi hummed in agreement and gave her head pat, "Just let me know."

She sighed, she looked around the room. It definitely had emptied compared to earlier. She noticed her friend though, who was drinking tea. "Mitsuri?" Shinobu called out. The pink-green haired girl lit up at the call of her name.

"SHINOBUUUUU!!!!!" She went to give her a hug, "I CANT BELIEVE I GOT TIRED WHILE WORKING! I GOT MAKI AND TOMIOKA-SAN HURT! I SHOULDN'T HAVE EATEN A BIG MEAL!" Basically wailing in her friends ear.
