Change, an act which a majority of humans don't welcome with open arms

It's like suddenly being told to stop eating chicken and you're left to adapt difficultly, does it make sense? No? Okay either ways my life had changed drastically

I was following Mr CEO everywhere he went, I don't remember sitting down for even thirty minutes

It was all work, work and nothing but work for him

From the creative and design department to the finance department to marketing, the walking never stopped

I'm crying

Meetings east, west, north, south and don't get me started on filling and typing in paperwork

Ugh his energy

It's like he had spares of organs kept somewhere hidden, wherever he got the energy from I needed the source

ASAP

All that work and only in a day, by the time a month is over surely I'll lose weight and look like a sad skeleton noodle

Wasn't this guy a CEO? Work was supposed to be done for him and not work like one of the employees in the building

I rolled on the other side of my bed and looked at the ceiling my limbs spread pointing all directions

I felt exhausted

The job was too much, but thinking about the benefits, it is all worth it. If I play my cards right I might get a better position than the one I was in now

It was Saturday and I had already done my morning routine and went back to bed in my PJs

My mind decided to lay there all day and who am I to deny such a welcoming idea

I love Saturdays, no people, no noise, no walking around, just me and my comfort zone at peace

Harmony

I love my home, I can do anything I want when I want, I can be loud, I can sleep late, I can walk around in my underwear, I can do all sorts of things

I was still in my bed enjoying my company when my phone suddenly rang beside me, I took it and read the caller ID before a smile crept on my face

I swiped the screen and put the call on loud speaker

"Shouldn't you be sleeping?" I asked as I checked my time

It was 08:12

"Bad sleeping habits ...you know me" Kai chuckled lightly

I shook my head

"You're in bed yes?"

"Why do you wanna know?" I avoided the question

"I'll take that as a yes" he said knowingly

"Maybe I'm not" I tried to deny

"Yeah?"

"Uh-huh"

"Wait a sec" He said

A beeping sound caused me to look at the phone screen only to find my little brother video calling me, I swiped the screen again and Kai came into view filling up my whole phone screen

He seemed to be in his kitchen eating a midnight snack

"Hey Kai" I waved grinning

He looked at me for a second before he chortled, he covered his mouth and looked away

"What?"

He looked at the camera calming down with a grin on his face

"I just missed you Happy"
