Garrel fired more than twenty employees including Hannah that day, the more he questioned the culprits the more others who were hidden showed up

He grew angrier as more people who were involved came flocking in the conference room

It wasn't healthy

He was questioning the last person now, the man Felicia accused when the meeting started, the finance manager

"Sir I was only operating under an Anonymous's order" the finance manager trembled "he was threatening my family I I couldn't refuse it"

The man was obviously lying

"YOU'RE FIRED!" Garrel roared

I flinched

"I WANT YOU OUT OF MY BUILDING NOW AND DON'T THINK LOOKING FOR A JOB ANYWHERE ELSE"

"Don't leave his sight when this is over" Angelo muttered "he's completely lost it"

I eyed Garrel and nodded slowly

"Sir please it was the work of the devil, please" the man pleaded

Garrel was breathing heavily with anger, I have never seen him this angry before

"Who is this anonymous person" Garrel asked

"I... I don't know"

Garrel ran his hand through his hair as he turned around

"He contacted me through letters and they never showed it's origin, I always found them on my table sir please I apologize and I've acknowledged my mistake please I can't lose this job"

"You're of no use to me if you're not going to give me what I'm looking for" Garrel glared at the finance manager

He turned around

"Please sir I can try contacting him please give me time to find out how"

"I WANT THIS PERSON NOW! IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME A NAME THEN GET OUT!" he hit the table with his hands

"Garrel" I stood trying to calm him

"SIT DOWN!" I sat abruptly

"YOU OUT NOW!"

"Sir-"

"OOOUT!"

The man rushed to the door seeing how angry his now former boss was, it was obvious he lost his job

There was no hope

On the other hand I was shocked, I was surprised at his outburst a few seconds ago. Did he just... shout at me?

I'm not the one who stole his money why was he directing his anger at me?

"Mr Berg" Garrel looked at the old man

"You traced some transactions to me too?" Mr Berg asked

He looked scared

I hated that look on Mr Berg, I've worked with him for years and never  has he ever been disloyal to this company

Mr Berg was innocent, and if he was being doubted that meant I was too, because I was under him before I was moved to the last floor

"No" Garrel shook his head "but I want to know why all this happened right under your nose... you should've-"

"If you're going to blame Mr Berg then you should blame me too Mr Thompson" I said monotonously as I gave him a blank stare

"According to the time frame, this started before I was transferred to your floor" I pointed out "one question though, would I have started all this if I knew I was involved?"
