"What are you talking about" Reina faked her surprised reaction

"Cut the act Reina, we know it's you"

Her eyes began to dampen, tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at me

"How could you accuse me of such a thing?" she said in a quavering voice

Her little act didn't guilt-trip me, I stared at her my eyes cold as ice. I opened the briefcase and took out a khaki envelope

"What's going on Garrel, what is this" Serah asked

I didn't answer, instead I fished out the pictures I received this morning and threw them in Reina's face

"Take a look, and lie to my face again" I glared

Reina shakily looked at the pictures, she took one and her eyes widened as she gave a good look at it

"We've been following you, and our suspicions were confirmed yesterday" I said

Serah gasped

Her body trembled as she picked the pictures one by one and looked at them

"I hid so well" she whimpered "I was very careful"

She swiftly tilted her head up, tears were all over her face as she glared at me bitterly

"I hate you" she said in contempt

"I can't believe this" Serah stood

She walked towards Reina but I was quick on my feet and pulled her to me

I didn't trust Reina, if she managed to steal all that amount of money under my nose then she was capable of doing anything

She was capable of hurting Serah

"Why did you do it?" Serah asked her voice breaking "aren't we friends? aren't they your friends? why would you do such a thing to them?"

"I still can't believe it myself" Darren said running his hand through his hair

I guided Serah to the swivel chair and sat her down

"You guys want to know why? why don't you ask him" Reina glared at the two "he knows why"

I chuckled

It was funny yes, because I had no idea what she was talking about. We were childhood friends but we weren't that close

We grew around each other, we played and chilled around the same circle but we were from different worlds

"And what is that" I said leaning on the table in front of me

"Don't act like you don't know" she glared at me "You know! You chose work over me and I decided to DESTROY IT!"

The door bursted open

Everyone in the room looked at the source of the sound

A few policemen entered their guns in position to shoot anybody that was going to do anything fishy

Reina glanced at me her eyes wide as sorcerers before she looked back at the policemen fear evident in her eyes

"Miss Reina, you're under arrest under the crime embezzlement, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law"

"No"she shook her head

"You have the right to an attorney"

"You can't do this!" she sobbed

"If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you"

"You can't do this to me" she cried as she looked at me
