I stared in open space as her face flashed before my eyes again, Mr Berg had finally brought his assistant to the annual meeting

Something he never did

I understood though, this girl didn't seem to be a people's person. I was fine with that and let it slide since Mr Berg and I come a long way

I played with my pen on the glass table as I leaned my head on my left hand, I headed straight to Thompson's Co building after the meeting at D&G

I could tell under the big afro hair that covered her face, I could tell she had a beautiful character, different from all my employees

I've tried to get her attention a couple of times I've been in this building, failed miserably each time

I'd go to Mr Berg's office to see how well he was doing and well yes of course see this woman up close

With my record of getting what I want and being successful, I wasn't successful with her

Everytime she hid her face with her long natural hair and the bangs that fell down her forehead making it difficult to see her face

But at that meeting, I smiled. I saw at least more of her face

I sighed

I feel annoyed everytime I see her face covered up, she doesn't appreciate her beauty that I've noticed. I wish I could do something, change that fact but we weren't that close for me to tell her to get rid of her hair

"What's on your mind?"

My eyes rolled to the door and found Darren closing it

"Nothing in particular" I said as I sat properly on my swivel chair

"Hmm well you're probably thinking about something, spill" Darren said as he sat down in front of me

I chuckled as I shook my head

Darren was the youngest in my family, the annoying and irresponsible one

"Is it a girl" he wiggled his eyebrows

"And if it is?" I raised my eyebrows

"Well I'll make sure I bring her close to me so she gets close to you" little brother said proudly

I chuckled

"You think I wouldn't?" He asked

"I think you wouldn't notice if I liked anyone" I pointed out

"Please brother" he waved me off "even my subconscious would know" Darren said as a matter of fact

I shook my head as I watched him amused, he had too much faith in himself

I've been interested in someone for a long time now and he didn't notice even a slight bit

"I'm telling you brother" he said

I shook my head as I stood up and buttoned my blazer

"When are you coming to the office?" Darren asked

"Soon, I'll stay and work there a week or two" I said as I walked around the table

"Alright, well I wanted to talk to you about something"

I looked at him, it didn't seem too serious from his aura

"About what?" I asked

"Mr Berg's assistant"
