Friends? That's something I wouldn't push myself to have in a million years, all they have proven to me is how good they can be to me note the sarcasm

I wasn't going to keep my hopes up with these strangers Darren brought to my house

They were sophisticated and sophisticated people judgy just like everyone at my work place

I made a mental note to be vigilant during their stay

"Your house is beautiful" Alex said as everyone entered my comfort zone with me holding the door

"Thank you" I smiled

"And small" Darren followed

"Nobody asked for your opinion" Ria muttered

"Isn't it small though" Darren smirked at Ria and she rolled her eyes

"Come on man, it's homey" Zack sat comfortably on my couch like he'd been here a couple of times

"Unlike your house" Tyler added before glancing at Darren

"Ooooah!" Zack exaggeratedly shouted

And soon everyone broke out in laughter

"Oh come on my house is homey" Darren argued

Mte chuckled

"Whatever makes you sleep at night" Tyler shrugged

I pressed my lips together and looked at Darren. Well what do we have here, someone who actually puts Darren to his place

I'm going to enjoy this I thought as I closed the door

"Oh come on let's not start that" Darren waved everyone off

"Start what? How you look lonely?" Mte asked as he caressed Jeanah's shoulder

"I'm not lonely" Darren rolled his eyes

Ria shook her head and got up walking to the kitchen where Molly and Alex were, we had shopped a few food stuff on the way here

"Yes you are Darren!" Molly spoke from the kitchen

"Get a woman man, being a Casanova won't get you anywhere" Mte advised

"Oh it will" Tyler chuckled as he opened a bottle of coke "his father will make sure of that"

Darren looked at him with a bored face as Zack and Mte chuckled

"Man that man is something else" Mte shook his head

"He's blocked all my men it's not funny" Darren looked away

"Serah what are you doing there? We need your help here" Alex called

"Oh right" I walked in the kitchen with an instinct to help

I was still standing on the door watching whatever was happening in my house, sue me for being a bad host but I'm in shock or whatever this state is

"He sure learnt that from Alex's grandparents" Tyler said

Darren sighed

"What's going on" I asked as I started unpacking
