"What is going on?"

Serah made a move to get down from the kitchen island but Garrel's firm grip stopped her, she felt guilty now for letting Darren find them in that position

She had been avoiding him for months, now that Serah found out he wasn't in the wrong and hadn't apologized for mistreating him didn't feel right

Darren's mind was blank as he watched the two in a bizarre position on the kitchen island

"They're married Darren, that's what couples do" Mason said as he made himself present on the scene

He walked deep into the kitchen as his eyes searched for something

"Your containers are here" Serah said slipping down from the counter causing Garrel to scoff

"Ah yes... thanks" Mason said as he caught sight of the containers

He walked took them and walked to his little brother

"Come on, they need some privacy" he said before pulling Darren with him

"Have a wonderful night you two" Mason shouted from the dining

There was total silence immediately the two left, Serah leaned on the sink standing opposite Garrel

"I feel bad" Serah said after a while

"For what?"

"Darren finding us that way" she looked up "after I've avoided him for months, I should've talked to him after finding out what really happened"

"Don't let that eat you up" Garrel said

Serah sighed

She pushed herself off the sink as she started walking slowly to the door that led upstairs Garrel following behind

"I should get some rest" she muttered

They walked upstairs and Serah stopped by her bedroom door, she looked at him and smiled

"Thank you for today" she said softly "have a wonderful night"

Garrel nodded and smiled back

"G'night"

Serah opened her bedroom door and entered, she walked straight to her closet desperately wanting to get out of the dress and wear her favorite comfy clothes, her pajamas

She let her dress slip and drop on the floor before she walked out of it and into the bathroom to take a shower

Minutes later she was out humming thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran as she walked into the walk-in closet in her fresh undies and cami crop top she left in the bathroom

Her head tilted up and suddenly a gasp escaped her lips at the sight in front of her

Her eyes roamed around the room her lips parted in surprise, the walk-in closet was empty, awfully empty. Her stuff were no where to be seen not even a pin was left in there

Where are my things

Everything was there in the morning, the place had tight security it did not make sense that somebody stole all her things

She felt her body covered in a morning gown followed by arms wrapping her

"What kind of wife leaves her husband alone in their room" Garrel whispered

"You moved my things to your room?" she turned around in his arms

"Our room" Garrel corrected

Serah looked at him tongue-tied, she clearly did not see it coming. She never thought they'd be a day where she would move into the master bedroom
