"Ugh I'm so exhausted like I was the one pausing for the pictures" I said sitting on one of the chairs near the dressing table

Sammie chuckled as she started taking the last piece off behind me

"You barely did anything" Benadette gave me the stinky eye

"Hey!" I raised my hand "I stood the whole session watching her, my legs kinda hurt" I whined at the end

I put my hand down as I laid my head on the wide dressing table

"You're a drama queen" Sammie laughed

"Allooow" I shook my shoulders and whined

I'm glad I didn't take my glasses today, they could've given me a tough time

There was total silence as everyone was busy doing their own thing, I closed my eyes on a mission to gain more energy through a two minutes nap

I heard the door creak open, two voices came in laughing and talking before the door closed again

"Have you seen the pictures of CTK charity event?" I heard Omega say

"Wait it was last night?" Claudia gasped

Silence sipped in for a few seconds

"Uh huh and omg was our power couple rocking it" Omega said in a singsong and giggled

Power couple?

"Omg lemme see lemme see" Claudia said excitedly

"Woooow this dress really looked good on her" Claudia said "Mrs Thompson is really pretty"

My eyes opened

"Can I see?" Benadette said

I heard a few steps before she spoke again

"Wow she's really beautiful"

Not interested in their flattery, I closed my eyes again begging for sleep to take me whole

"They really look good together" Omega said "I wonder why she's never stepped foot here, I mean if I was her I'd have definitely showed up to see my hubby working"

"I agree" Benadette said

"It's quite a shame she's playing house while her husband is busy sleeping with a nobody at work" Claudia spit

That made me open my eyes slowly

"Claudia" I heard Benadette whisper

"No actually let me speak" she said "Mr Thompson clearly has no taste, it's sad she does it so openly. Did you see what happened out there when he came, you should be ashamed of yourself Serah"

I sighed

"I mean a married man? All to gain favors like getting the highest rated models do a regular photoshoot?" Claudia chuckled clapping her hands "That's uncalled-for!"

"I'm right here sis, and I don't appreciate you trash talk my friend like that... If you have something to say, come straight to me. I don't mind having fights with douchebags" Sammie sneered

"Oh wow you're on her side, is that how you climbed up to the top too?"

Alright that's enough

"I think you should leave" I said sitting up straight

"If he wasn't the owner of this company I'd have reported you for violating the rules"

I let out an aspirated sigh

I was exhausted, tired of her trying to make scenarios that were childish in her mind. It was getting old
