Questions and Answers

Aisha was sitting on the rooftop of the main building from where she could see the beautiful river flowing down the hill, the vast woodland with magnificent colours of leaves, and flowers, and the wide plain field which was more of an image shown by the magical wall, the never-ending high peaks which were cuddled by fog and clouds, the boiling volcanos and the Golden centre of the stage glowing brightly with the four pillars sparkling their lights.

Such a soothing view was sufficient to calm anyone but here Aisha was stressed. She had been trying to create what she saw in her dream, a poison that could do any sort of magic she thinks of. During the past three weeks, she had tried several times to make use of it but every drop was a waste. After plenty of disasters and blasts behind her closed door now she was testing on the terrace where no one would come.

"Pray! This should work now."

She closed her eyes to gather up all the scattered pieces of her faith and dropped the tiniest bit out of her bottle on a dry leaf to turn it into a freshly born one. The grey liquid embraced the centre veins of the dead leaf staying constant there but suddenly the particles scattered and ran through the veins glowing silver and within a blink of an eye the leaf revived.

Aisha cheered up and hurried back to her room. She dropped another bit to order the set-up to disappear as she saw in her dream. And then she cured the disaster due to the explosion which occurred while her trials.

Flashback- From Aisha's point of view

I don't know what I am up to. I mean this thought is just ridiculous that I'm going to make something I saw in my dream. It was poison. And what I know about poisons is only to identify objects and extract them from general things if not in a pure state. Very basic knowledge! That's according to my syllabus. I've read everything from that library, books of all the years. But, poisons, I've just read, never even tried making the basic ones. However, I have never seen those specific things I spotted in my dream but here I know what they were and how I'm supposed to use them. Mark my question!

I collected the things from the storage at night and sneaked them back into my room. I allowed my study table to become my workplace and I was ready to start. I placed a few books related to poisons I issued from the library which was out of our syllabus. It had more detailed explanations I would need during this experiment. Should I call it an experiment or a foolish decision?

Anyways, I always do what I feel is right. So I arranged my things and started working on the project unaware of what quantity of what would give me the best results. So I added things little by little and soon got exhausted. For that night I allowed it to be on hold and went to sleep willingly to see the same dream again. This was the first time I wanted to watch a dream again but... My dreams never repeat! They just continue or show me a worse version of the last time.

That night I slept calmly, after a long while. The essence of those poisonous substances around was somehow very comforting to me, how?

I kept on working on it and the week passed away. However, the week wasn't easy for me. I don't know but I was feeling weak and tired. My body was hurting like hell. I was having visions of someone screaming in pain. I could feel every bit of it. At times it happened at night when I woke up screaming in pain. I used to look at my body and have seen unknown scars in the darkness of the room but when the light appeared they faded away with the gloom. All day my body used to ache and my heart was fighting some confrontations I didn't know about. I had a terror developing in me. What? I don't know.

I lacked a few things so I had to find them in the conservatory or in or around the forest. No doubt, making poisons is a headache until you enjoy it and here I was enjoying it. The aroma of the boiling mixture or the raw smell of the elements around was so friendly to me as if I found the place I belong after a long while. The way I was working, no one would believe I was trying to make poison for the first time.
