Astaroth, Belial and Lucan stood around the table. After Lucan had described the situation to them in detail, they had taken immediate action. The two demons that Lucan had described were immediately announced by Astaroth to hunt them down with a high reward. In addition, they had discussed further plans.
A clap interrupted their discussion. Another unexpected guest. What was going on today?
Lucan looked at him – Nix? "Nix, what are you doing here?"
Nix sparkled at him angrily. "You damn idiot! I warned you and you messed it up!"
Lucan looked at him and understood.
Suddenly, Nix's eyes turned white. Seconds passed, and he returned. He sighed. "Great. A message to you, kitty. If you're not careful, the big evil dog will snatch your bone away."
That's what he meant. He had been so stupid.
"Be that as it may, you ruined my great plan," Nix said in a pissed voice.
"Nix, what's going to happen?" Astaroth asked.
"If you allude to whether the little succubus betrays you or not – I don't know. Nor what will happen to him because he hasn't made his decision yet. As long as a person hasn't yet made a fate-changing decision, his future is unwritten," Nix replied.
Lucan had remained silent until now. Then Nix' eyes began to shine again. With relief on his face, he returned. "Heaven, love is really something fascinating. Kitty, your bone will break, but without a sound."
Then they had their answer. Zack wouldn't betray them. No, he would die without saying a word. Lucan's knees gave way. I will lose him.
"Lucan, calm down. Breaking doesn't necessarily mean dying – does it, Nix?" Belial said and gave Nix a panicked look. Nix remained silent.
Zorahi grabbed Zack by the throat and put a hand on his cheek, caressing it. "You really are a beautiful specimen. It's a shame."
Zack tried to retreat, to escape this disgusting touch. Then his hand rested on his temple and he prepared himself for what was to come. Pain shot through his head and everything turned black, but he didn't lose consciousness, no. In front of him, black clouds of fog began to form and his biggest nightmare began.
"Tell me, what's your biggest fear?"
Zack was breathing heavily. He wouldn't tell him anything and wouldn't show him anything. Aleks and Lucan appeared in front of him, but their faces were blurred. He wouldn't remember their faces. He refused. Aleksander raised his sword and thrust it into Lucan's chest. Zack screamed. This is not real, this is not real.
He ran to his mate without a face. Held the dying man in his arms. No!, he shouted. Then the dream tore off. Light entered from all sides and he was back in the interrogation room. He gasped violently.
"You are very persistent. You refuse to reveal to me the identity of your beloved ones. But we'll see how long you last. Tell me the names."
Zack just squeezed out a "Fuck you."
Zorahi grabbed him again and Zack's scream echoed through the room.
An hour later, Zorahi carelessly dropped the unconscious prisoner to the side. He didn't break. He had never encountered such a strong will. The prisoner hadn't revealed anything, just shouting "I love you." But who was the person who prevented him from breaking?
"Bring him back to his cell. Prepare everything for the next interrogation. If he doesn't talk, he will die," Zorahi told his subordinates.
Seto had been watching with a sadistic smile all the time, rejoicing in the prisoner's torments. He threw Zack over his shoulder and walked away. Zorahi's eyes followed. He would keep an eye on Seto.
