Completely silently, they floated through the night on their black wings, their colors merging with their black combat suits. Raven and Eiran would distract the guards so that Killian and Kara could invade. After only a few minutes, they saw the few employees walking to the front, the lights in the corridors moving away with them.

With a spell, Kara opened the window on the lowest floor and they got in. The corridor they entered was completely dark. Killian pulled out a dimmed light stone. Suddenly, Killian turned around and looked out the window into the night. Was someone there? He wasn't sure, but they didn't have time to figure it out.

They walked along the corridors that the little girl had described to them in detail until they came to an iron door. As she had said, the stone to open the door was in a small vase with a lily pattern. Either he was too lazy to carry it with him, or he was so sure that no one would walk down here. Well, that was his bad luck.

Quietly they crept down the cold stone stairs and what they saw made the blood freeze in their veins. In front of them lay two women, naked and completely emaciated, chained to the wall with iron chains. They were so thin that their ribs protruded strongly and their cheeks had collapsed. Without hesitation, they ran to them and checked the heartbeat and breath. The heartbeat was there, but her breath was dangerously shallow.

Killian immediately bit his wrist and gave his blood to the right – a brown-haired succubus whose long curls reached down to her belly button. He gently lifted her head and let his blood flow into her open lips. That would give her enough strength for a short time that they could get her out of here. Kara, meanwhile, destroyed the iron chains.

The other whispered something, but they couldn't understand it. Suddenly, the brown-haired woman opened her eyes and dark green eyes looked anxiously at him.

"Shh, you are alright, sister. We are the clan of the Phoenix and are here to free you," Killian said, letting her have a drink, then he went to the other and strengthened her as well. Hot tears ran down their cheeks, because for the first time, the two felt something like they had hope.

Kara took a blanket and wrapped the left woman in it to place her over her shoulder. Killian took off his top and put it on the second, covering her body and protecting her from the cold outside.

"I have to take you over my shoulder. It's going to be uncomfortable, but try to endure it until we're safe," he said gently, receiving a nod. He held her body and readied himself, fixing her legs to his chest with his left arm. Together, the two ran up the stairs and down the hallway with their weakened sisters. Without stopping, they jumped out of the window and ran into the night.

Killian threw out a loud whistle, causing Raven and Eiran to retreat. After a few minutes, the two landed next to them, Raven covered with blood that wasn't theirs. Just as Killian was about to call a portal, a male voice sounded behind them.

"Stop, Phoenix, or we'll kill you right here on the spot."

Everyone stopped and positioned themselves in a circle, with their backs to each other. Numerous torches lit up around them, so he saw that numerous heavily armed enemies were standing around them. My instincts didn't deceive me. But why did they wait until we saved them? That didn't make sense. He felt the fear of the succubus on his shoulder.

"Eiran, please take her," he said, handing them over to his ally, who cautiously accepted the female. Then Killian stepped forward, in the direction of the leader of this squad.

"You know who I am. Tell me why you're here?" he asked bluntly. If they had wanted to kill him, they would have already done so. So it had to have another reason.
