As much as you wanted to find true love, it seemed like your family, neither your kingdom accepted that at all. They wanted you to marry a Prince that you hadn't even met yet. It was pretty much uncomfortable for you, the Princess of the Swan Island.

You walked down the hall carefully, trying to be quiet so nobody could hear your light tiny steps.

"My Princess, please don't do it. Our majesty is going to kill us." Your maiden, Naeun said with her voice shaking out of fear.

"Don't be stupid, they won't kill you, I won't let them, but for now I need you to be quiet." You continued to walk through the palace, finally reaching the stairs and going down the stairs with your tip toes.

"My Princess! Please don't do this! I beg you!" Your maiden grabbed you by the arm trying to take you back upstairs, but you kept pulling. Until you tripped.

You let out a yelp, as you got ready feel the pain in your head, but it never reached you. Instead you felt a rigid chest where your face was resting, and bulky arms in which your hands where positioned.

As you looked up to see a handsome man in front of you, a small gasp escaped your lips. He was so handsome, to the point which you couldn't describe. His lips were extremely beautiful and his sharp face proportions draw you more and more to him.

It was like he was sculpted by the same mythical gods.

"I'm so sorry for this misfortune Prince Jay, As you might have seen, my daughter is a bit of a clumsy girl. Pardon us." The Queen looked at you right in the eyes, just like snake does with its prey.

"Pardon me, Your Highness." You did a curtsy in front of him, and he did the same in response.

The prince was very serious to say the least, he wouldn't show a single emotion in his face.

"As you might know, This is my daughter, Princess Y/N." She said walking to your side, pulling you close to her and whispering to your ear.

"How could you embarrassed your kingdom so miserably?! I don't wanna know about you getting in trouble once again." She then continued smiling and kept walking while Prince Jay walked behind her.

Downstairs was Prince's Jay mom, looking at you caringly as if she had sympathy for you.

"Come here, darling." She commanded.

You lifted your dress a little to be comfortable while walking down the stairs, you could see her eyes shining. She thought you were beautiful, splendid and gorgeous.

"I've heard so much about you darling, I'm pretty sure you're such a sweet girl, so intelligent." She caressed your cheek making you feel safe. There was something about her that made your heart warm.

"You are such a good match for my son. I've heard that your mother has been on the search of a Prince. I know that the last Princes weren't right for you, but I assure you... That my son, Jay... Is perfect for you."

She's right, your mother had been looking for a Prince to be beside you on your throne, but you wouldn't budge, you wanted true love, not love by convinience. Still, arranged marriage was always written on your destiny.
