99. BTS Jungkook - Nice To Meet You

It's a Monday and today marks the 7th day in row that you have worked. You're exhausted from your 8 hour shifts and all you want to do is go home and wrap yourself in your bed sheets. But unfortunately you can't do that until your shifts over in 2 hours. As you're sweeping the floor you hear someone come into the coffee shop. You look up to see that it's this guy that comes quite often. You plaster on your fake customer service smile and say hello. This guy always looked cold and rude, but for some reason today you decided to start I conversation with him. I'm mean you did think he was a little cute. "Hi!" You say. He looks up and half smiles at you and bringing his back down. "I remember you; you come in here a lot," You tell him. He chuckles at you statement and nods. "I live right next door...I'm JungKook by the way." He smiles "I'm (Y/N)," you bring out your hand for him to shake it. He shakes it and you could feel yourself blushing a little. You quickly go behind the counter to take his order. After you make his drink you go to check him out. "That will be $4.30," You say. As he gets his money out you notice him smiling and he looks up to you. You nervously smile back and hand him his drink. "Well, enjoy your coffee," you tell him before he leaves. "I will," he waves and leaves out the coffee shop. "Why am I so awkward!" You yell to yourself.

After he came in you were no longer tired the long week that you worked no longer affected you. And for the rest of the night you found yourself smiling for no reason.

It's been almost a month since you last saw Jungkook so you pretty much forgot about him. Of course you thought of him occasionally, but you mostly tried to forget about the handsome guy before you fantasized an entire relationship with him.

"Can you clean and turn off the coffee machine." You coworker asks.

"Sure, no problem," You tell them.

It was almost time for you to close up the shop when you heard a customer come in. "Hello," you say still focused on cleaning out the coffee machine. Rolling your eyes at the same time because you despised last minute customers. When you finally decided to look up that's when you notice the person who walked in. Jungkook.

You smile from ear to ear at him and he waves to you. Of course you're totally happy to see him, but you didn't want him to notice your excitement over him since this is only the second time seeing him.

You didn't want to seem too eager to see him so you let your other coworker check him out. He grabs his coffee and heads toward the door.

And of course because you are so smooth, you stared at him the entire time he was walking out. "Have a goodnight," he smiles to you.

You snap out of your trance,"You too."

When he leaves you smack yourself in the head again. "What the heck was that?!" You say.

The next day you figure you most likely won't see Jungkook again until another month from now, so you didn't bother to get your hopes up.

"Hey, I'm going next door to get something to eat." You tell your coworker.

He nods his head and you grab your purse before heading out.

You walk into the cafe and you look up to the back to see Jungkook sitting with his laptop.

"Oh my gosh," you thought.

You wave first to him and he does the same. You try to act as normal as possible. You order your food and try to converse with the staff because you were, for some reason, nervous. Also, so you could avoid making eye contact with him as much as possible.

"I was actually on my way over to your shop to bring these new mugs over," one of the staff members tells you.

"Oh, I don't mind bringing them over," you tell them.

You walk over to the giant box of mugs and look at it for a second, wondering if you would even be able to lift all this.

"Do you need any help?" You turn around to Jungkook looking at you.

You could feel your face heating up, "Uh, sure," you blush. He lifts up the box with ease and you lead him back to the coffee shop. Once you get in the building you look over to Jungkook. "You can just put the box down over there. Thanks for your help."

Before you walked away Jungkook stopped you. "Uh, wait."

You turn around with a surprised look on your face, "Yeah?" You ask.

"I was wondering..." He starts to rub the back of neck. "I was wondering if I could get your number?"

You were taken back by his question but eagerly agreed to his request. "Cool, I'll text you sometime," he nervously says. You giggle at his behavior and nod you head, "I'd like that."

He waves goodbye and you did the same.

Once he leaves you start to squeal. You coworker looks at you with disapproval on his face, but you could care less. You continue to do your victory dance, until you remembered you had to go back over to get your food. Dang it...
