I started writing this story at age 14, between 2020 and 2021. So many things have happened within the past five years; I took it down, I deleted some parts, I edited some parts, I changed names. But all in all, it took me five years to actually finish the book.
There is a clear difference in the writing at the beginning and the end of the story. The earlier chapters are shorter and might I say... cringier? Towards the end, the chapters will be longer and more heartfelt.
I have avoided reading the being of the story until recently, partly because I knew I would want to edit it, but I still hadn't finished the story so it would have taken longer to finish.
Looking back, I don't know WHAT I was thinking. I appreciate seeing the growth, but if you all would prefer an updated version, I can go back an start editing. Just say the word.
