Chapter 4

The song finished and everyone applauded. The boy looked up from his guitar and grinned. "Oh my lord..", Danny tapped my shoulder and kept repeating over and over. The boy's smile was GORGEOUS! It's unexplainable! His sparkly blue eyes met mine and his grin faded away. Was there something wrong with me? I didn't know. Danny pulled my arm out of the crowd. As we walked to class, I glanced back and saw the handsome boy wave at me with a smirk. Butterflies bounced in my stomach and my face felt hot.

"Alright, alright stop blushing.", Danny teased. Who was he? I had to know! Next class of the day, Science.

I paid no attention in Science. Ms.Roxan, our science teacher, called on me twice and I answered wrong. She made me sit in front of the class from now on to keep an eye on me.

Language arts, the least boring class of the day. Mrs.Diaz, our language arts teacher, gave us free time and made us watch a movie. I paid no attention. All I heard was the music of that guitar's music. Max was in my class and so was Samantha. I sent a note to Max.

"Talk to her!". Max glanced at me and I gave him a "Go!" gesture. I was proud that Max had a crush. I was a little upset at first but you know, I kind of got over it. I see Max talking to Samantha and both of them laughing and having a good time. Max walked up to me and placed another note on my desk and smiled.

"Thanks Brynn. Turns put she likes me back! We're BF and GF now, thanks to you :) im glad you guys worked this out! Happy Valentines day !"

Finally, the end of the day! I got a text from mom saying to walk home today. I didn't mind. As I walked out of school with the giant stuffed Polar bear Max gave me, someone caught up to me. "Hey, wait up!", I glanced back to see it was that boy with the guitar. "Hey", he said, trying to catch his breath.

"Hi! I heard your song back there. I liked it.", I wanted to be friends with the guy so I decided to bring up a good topic.

"Oh. So you liked the song?"

"Heh, yeah.".

"I'm Simon", he held out his hand for me to shake it.

"I'm Brynn", I shook his hand and gave a warm smile. He smiled back. My legs felt really wobbly, but I managed to keep myself standing. The LEAST thing I wanted was to be embaressed in front of Simon.

"So.. where do you live?", he asked.

"Over there." I pointed to my house. I live in a little blue house surrounded by a colorful garden filled with many flowers of all kinds. The roof of the house is as white as snow and filled with carved designs on every corner. We've been living there ever since I was young.

"Really? I live two houses away from you to the right!", Simon pointed at his house. He lives in a green house with a purple roof. The double doors looked like chocolate bars and his grass was nicely trimmed.

"Oh wow. Well, I gotta go. See you tomorrow?", I waited for an answer.

"Sure", he randomly gives me a kiss on the cheek.
