It's been month's, maybe even years, since I've seen Brynn. Im getting extremely worried.

No one in school knows what happened to her, not even Danny, Natalie, or Simon. I decided to take manners into my own hands.

Friday afternoon, I decided to stroll by Brynn's house. My hands were shaking as I knocked on her door. After a few minutes, Ms.Lee slightly opened the door. As her eyes met mine, she swiftly shut the door. Before she could close it all the way, my foot got the small opening. I welcomed myself in and slammed the door behind me.

"Where is she?", I demanded. Her mother, nearly a foot smaller than me, tried to push me away. I grabbed her by the arm and yanked her towards me. Was she hiding something? I needed to know.

"I don't know what your talking about!", she panicked. Yup, definitely hiding something.

"Ms.Lee, wheres Brynn?", I asked a second time. I was curious to know what this lady was hiding.

"Max, I know I trust you and all, but not now. This is a FAMILY problem, which means it doesn't include YOU.", she sounded devious. My heart raced. What could she have done to her?

"Tell me NOW.", I commanded, slightly hurting her as she let out a small yelp. I didn't want to use force for her to let out the truth, but she left me no choice.

"Let's just say, she has a long-term memory loss and is never coming back. How about that?", she gave a half grin, half smile. I couldn't tell what she felt more, guilt or happiness.

"What did you do?", I kept a tight grip on her arm. An even louder yelp came out of her.

"Okay, okay, fine! Brynn is living in California with her aunt and got an electro shock so she won't remember her terrible experience with you and Simon. I HAD to do it! You have NO idea what she could've done!", my heart skipped a beat and I lost grip on Ms.Lee.

I cursed under my breath. Was she nuts?! Brynn wouldn't even kill a bug if she wanted to! "W-What are you talking about? What things?", my voice kept cracking - I hate when that happens.

"Long before Brynn was born, her grandmother from her fathers side died. Her father was so devastated that he left me for another woman. Coincidentally, we both had given birth on the same day; Brynn and her twin brother."

"Well, its not like he killed someone, right?", why couldn't I take anything seriously?

"Ever since you and her were bullied when you were younger, she gain low self esteem. I was scared that something worse would happen."

I slapped my forehead in disgrace. "Its a huge SHAME that you don't trust your own daughter. A huge SHAME."

"Whatever. Shes gone now and will most likely remember in a couple of years since her aunt is such a big mouth. Theres nothing you can do about it, Max."

She was right. Im only fifteen, there's nothing I could do. I'll find a way. For now, I'll just need to keep this to myself.
