Chapter 29

*End of Spring Break*

The light shined through my shut eyelids. Someone had opened my curtains. I blinked a few times and caught sight of my mom brushing off dust from my now open curtains.

"Rise -n- shine! Enough sleeping, its time for school!"

I sat up in bed and stretched a bit. I got up and did my morning jobs. My cheeks were tanned red from the sun and I got a major tan.

I got out a simple dress and strapped it on. I decided to curl my hair into waves and got out some black converse. I was ready to go.

When I got to school, all of my friends were so excited to talk about their vacations. Danny introduced me to her friend Nat. She seems really nice and we talked for a bit.

I was just there, laughing and talking with my pals, when I see Max talking with one of his friends. He had a green cast on his arm to match his braces. I bit my bottom lip and closed my eyes shut.

"Uh, Brynn?", I heard Nat's voice and some giggles in the background.

"Huh?", I opened my eyes to see pitch black.

"Oh no, IM BLIND!", I yelped. More giggles in the background, louder than before. Then I felt hands being planted on my eyes. I touched the hands to reveal familiar texture.

"Simon?"

The hands remove themselves from my now open eyes and wrap themselves around my waist, carrying me up in the air. I laugh and was finally planted on top of a table. I look at my friends, who were now a few tables away from me, giving me hand gestures and winks. I just chuckled and shook my head.

"Hey red cheeks.", Simon's hands pinched my cheeks. The burned.

"Ow!", I pinched his even harder. Simon carries my in his arms and cradles me like a baby. I just laughed and he gave me a slight kiss on the forehead.

During lunch, I was walking with Nat and Danny in search for a seat. As we looked for a table, I caught eye of a creepy shadow. It gave me chills. I tried to take a closer look. I jumped back and dropped my lunch.

Samantha was back.
