"Let's go through this again," Virgil started, "You two-"

"Will stay behind you two at all moments and watch un-suspiciously as you and Remy go on with you date being gay. We will not do anything unless you need help; if you do, you will either text Logan or do that weird little signal we have stablished. We know," Janus sighed, "Seriously, Virgil, you have to chill."

"No, you have to chill," Virgil glared at him. Janus rolled his eyes.

"Why are you so nervous anyways?" Logan asked, "I mean- You looked so confident in our date, how is this one so different?"

"Don't flatter yourself, dreamboat," Virgil scoffed, "With your date, I had nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Besides, you were practically begging me to take you-"

"Ouch"

"Meanwhile, this one actually means something, ya know? Like- Remy is genuinely important to me, I have a lot to lose if this goes bad... Thankfully I'm a good actor, I'm hoping that those skills will help me in the date because if not-"

"Virgil, dear, you are not a good actor," Janus interrupted him, "What you're good at is at repressing your feelings. Not the same thing"

"Fuck off, Snake," Virgil hissed, "I'm trying to get some positivity in my system for once, don't come and try to make me feel even worse"

"If that's what you wanted, you shouldn't have asked me to be the one to help you out," Janus argued

"He's got a point," Logan nodded.

"I can't stand either of you."

"We love you too Verge," Janus grinned, "Now stop talking to us or you'll ruin your 'fantastic and flawless plan'"

"Shit right," Virgil ran his hands through his hair once more before turning his back on the other two vampires and stepping away towards the corner he'd agreed to meet with Remy.

Both Janus and Logan had dressed for the occasion, choosing their outfits to go "undercover". It sorta worked? ...Not really. Logan had chosen an all-black outfit: black shirt, black tie, black jeans and black boots, as all black meant he would blend in with the darkness, right...?

Meanwhile, Janus hadn't seemed to get the memo (or didn't understand current fashion), as he had leaned towards something somewhat different, aka, a cream shirt, a black vest with golden designs, black gloves, black trousers and a pair of black shiny shoes. His hair was up in a ponytail, and apparently him and Virgil had had a small fight back at their house over whether Janus was or wasn't allowed to wear one of his many capes and hats. Virgil had won.

It didn't take long for someone new to wave and approach Virgil. It was a tall individual, perhaps even taller than Emile, altho that might've been an illusion due to the platform boots that they were wearing, which added several extra centimeters to his height. They had light-toned beige skin, a small, flat nose, thick lips and long hair, which was dyed a very light shade, color probably faded, the roots showing that originally the hair was black. It was braided in several thin dreadlocks which were tied up in a ponytail, revealing that they had the rest of his hair shaved with a tattoo in it, one of a spiderweb. In fact, he seemed to have many tattoos, the most visible one being a spider one at the base of their neck, altho there were many others peeking through his clothes.

Along with the tattoos, they also had many piercings, consisting of an industrial one on his left ear (maybe right too, but it was hard to see from this angle), a helix one, two lobe ones, two eyebrow ones, twin dimple ones, septum and nostril ones, along with snake bites. Another detail that adorned his face were big, black, round sunglasses that made it impossible to see their eyes.
