The next day, December 25th
Claire's POV
I woke up with a Zealand in my face
"Mommy up" he said
"I'm up baby, merry Christmas" I tell him and he smiles
"Mewry Cwistmas" he says and I get up
"You better get daddy up" I tell him and he crawls over to Ezra's side
"Daddy up" he says, shaking Ezra
"Hey babe?" Ezra says with his eyes closed
"Yes?" I say
"We better call the zoo" he says
"Why's that?" I ask, smiling
"Because..." He opens his eyes fast "there seems to be a monkey that escaped" he says, grabbing Zealand and tickling him. Zealand laughs his head off and I just watch them and laugh.
We go out to the living room and I see Zealand's eyes widen. He runs over to the pile of presents
"Me?" He asks
"Yes, they're for you" I tell him and he starts ripping them open and I smile as my almost 3 year old opens his presents and then moves on to the next one.
After presents, I go over to my mom's house and I visit her for Christmas while Zealand plays with Scott and Alice. I let her open my gift
"A snow globe" she says, looking at it "how beautiful" she says and hugs me "thank you"
"You're welcome" I say.
Eileen comes over to our house and Zealand hugs Neo. This was the first time Neo's seen our house, so Zealand gives him a tour of the house. He shows Neo his bedroom and his dinosaur bed.
"Neo got you a present" Eileen says to Zealand while she hands the present to Neo. Neo gives it to Zealand
"What is it Z?" I ask him while he opens it. He holds up a dinosaur stuffed animal
"Dinosaur!" Zealand says and I smile
"Aww, it'll go well with your dinosaur bed" I tell him "what do you say to Neo and Eileen?" I ask him and he hugs Neo, then Eileen
