Claire's POV
Tonight was Eileen's baby shower. I got her lots of diapers and some baby clothes. They aren't finding out the gender till their born this time, so I got gender neutral onesies. The baby shower is at her house, but Nolan and I was helping set up early.
The baby shower was animal themed. I made a special jungle cake. It had monkeys, elephants, tigers, and lions. I made it especially for baby Davis. I couldn't wait, I was counting down the days until they come.

I get the kids dressed and ready and I hear Nolan knock on the door. He comes inside and I bring him to the kitchen
"How does it look?" I ask him and he looks at it
"Its adorable" he says "I love it" he adds
"Good because I don't have time to make another one" I say and he laughs
"She is gonna love it" he tells me.
Haven comes waddling in and pulls on Nolan's leg and he picks her up
"Hey munchkin" he says and kisses her cheek "how are you precious?" He asks her and she smiles
"Daddy" she says and hugs his neck
"Baby" he says and I laugh. I go to the living room
"Zealand, get your shoes on, it's almost time for Eileen's baby shower" I tell him and he obeys and puts them on.
Nolan gets Haven's shoes on and I get the cake and take it to the car while the kids start loading in. I drive us to Eileen's house. Nolan carries the cake in and I carry Haven in and hold Zealand's hand. Eileen opens the door and I hug her
"Hey guys" she says and we go inside.
Marcus grabs the cake from Nolan and brings it to the kitchen. The house was already pretty much decorated with animal themed stuff and it looked cute. Zealand and Haven go off to play with Neo in his room while we started getting things ready for the baby shower.
"Do you guys have the names picked out?" I ask her as we start decorating more
"Yes, we are set on a boy and a girl name" Eileen says
"Can't wait for the baby to come" I say again
"We are too" Eileen says
"Hows Neo doing with it? It's a big change for a 5 year old" I ask and she shrugs
"He's doing well actually, he's excited to have a little sibling" she says and I nod
"That's good" I say "that's probably gonna change though when he doesn't get all the attention" I add and she shrugs
"Maybe, but we'll find out when they get here" she says and we continue setting up.
Later, some of Eileen's family showing up. Her mom comes and aunt show up and then Marcus' family shows up. Marcus' brother's daughter, Greta, is the same age as Haven, so they get along great.
Eileen opens up all her presents and she got lots of diapers and other things that are essential for the baby. It's hard to shop for a baby when you don't know the gender, but everyone did just fine.
After the party, everyone leaves and I help Eileen clean up and then just hang out with her. I couldn't believe that Eileen was having her baby in a month... It was crazy to me. She was my best friend in the whole world and I was so happy for her and Marcus. I couldn't wait to watch their little family grow!
