Claire's POV
"I did a good thing" was the first thing Eileen said over the phone. I got nervous
"What did you do?" I ask her and I hear a slight giggle in her voice like she did something evil behind my back
"Hear me out before you say anything" she says and I took my eyes
"Just tell me so I can yell at you" I tell her and she giggles
"I signed us up on Tinder" she says and I gasp
"You didnt" I couldn't believe her "you brat" I say and she stops me
"Hold on, you didn't let me finish" she starts and I sigh "there's a guy who asked me out named Marcus" she says
"So?" I ask and she clears her throat
"We went on a date last night and talked all night" I heard a giggle in her voice even more than the last time "he has a best friend" she finally gets out
"You did not..." I knew where she was going "please tell me you didn't" she laughed
"I did" she admits "I set us up for a double date tomorrow night"
"Now you really are a brat" I say, I was annoyed, but she didn't mean any harm, she still feels bad for me since Ezra's death
"You're going right?" She asks and I groan
"What's his name?" I ask
"Nolan" she says and I groan again
"I don't even know him" I tell her and I knew she was smiling from the other end of the phone
"He's cute though" Eileen says and I shrug
"How do you know?" I ask her
"He showed me a picture of him, he's got light brown hair and blue eyes" she says and I frown
"Ezra had light brown hair and blue eyes" I tell her and she stopped smiling, I knew it
"Alot of boys do" she says and I shrug
"I remember Ezra specifically" I tell her "I'm not ready to start dating again"
"Its ok if you don't want to go, I understand" she says and I just sit there and think about it. Eileen just wants me to be happy, I should at least give this Nolan guy a chance
"You'll be there?" I had make sure before I say yes
"100% of the time" she assures and I can feel her smiling again "does that mean..." She starts and I sigh
"Yeah, I'll go as long as you're there" I tell her and she celebrates
"Yay!" She yells and I laugh
"What time?" I ask her
"7:30 but we'll drive there at around 7:15" she says
"What about the kids?" I ask
"We can take them to my mom's house, that's where Neo will be" she tells me
"Alright, see you tomorrow then" I tell her and she giggles
"Yeah, see ya then" she says and I roll my eyes and smile
