The next day, February 19th

Claire's POV

Today was the day Alice and Scott were leaving to Aunt Marla's house. They weren't all that excited to go, but I think they'll be ok... I hope at least.

Nolan came over to help move their stuff to their new home. He also wanted to meet my dad. He walked to dad's car and immediately shook his hand.

"How are you doing, Mr. Hayes?" He asks and lets go of his hand

"Doing well fine sir" dad says "see you've been dating my daughter" he adds and Nolan nods

"Yes sir, she's a very beautiful girl" he says making me blush

"Well, we gotta get going" he shakes Nolan's hand again "nice meeting you" he says and gets in his car.

I wave goodbye to them and to inside the house and Nolan follows behind me closing the door behind us. Zealand runs to me

"Is Ally and Scottie gone?" he asks and I pick him up

"Yes, but we'll see them again soon" I tell him and kiss his cheek and put him down.

That night, I sit on the couch with a blanket on and cuddle my baby girl while she sleeps peacefully. I cry thinking about how much I really missed my mom. She was always there for me when no one else was.

When I had my first period, my mom would share stories of her experience. When I was in the bathroom, vomiting my guts out when I was pregnant with Zealand, she would hold my hair so I wouldn't get it dirty and comfort me. I thought I had more time... I thought the same thing with Ezra. I was miserable. I lost everyone

I looked at my baby who was snoring peacefully... I had her. I had Zealand, I had Nolan, I had Eileen... I now has my dad, who I thought we dead. My siblings were there for me. Alice was getting older and she was becoming more like mom... Everyone thought I was my mom's twin, but she's definitely more like mom than me. I sigh.

"Thank you God for giving me my precious daughter who looks like her deceased father and giving me a sister who looks like her deceased mother" I say and kiss my baby girl's head.
