3 weeks later, September 29th
Claire's POV
I took Zealand to school, then I went home and called Nolan.
"Hey, I just took Z to school, you wanna come over?" I ask him
"Yeah, I'll be there in 5 minutes" he tells me and hangs up. I hear the door bell and I grab Haven and open the door. He comes inside and grabs Haven from me and throws her up in the air and kisses her cheek
"Hi baby" he says and she giggles "you miss me?" He asks and she smiles and squeals while Nolan blows into her tummy. I laugh, they had such a cute relationship and I loved it. She always smiled and laughed when he came over and it made me realize I chose the right man... No, Ezra gave me the right man.
Nolan played around with Haven. I check the time, it was time for her nap. I go to her bedroom where Nolan and Haven were playing and opened the door. I laughed as I saw Nolan and Haven sleeping on her sofa. I take a picture and then leave the room. That was one of the cutest things I have ever seen in my entire life... And I've seen a lot of cute things.
I sit on the couch in the living room and eat a bowl of grapes of cheese and watched TV... Peacefully. First time in a while where I didn't have a screaming baby.
A little while later, I hear the door open and Haven runs out of her bedroom and climbs into the couch. I laugh
"Where's Nolan?" I ask and carry her into the bedroom "wake him up" I tell her and she gets on the sofa and jumps on top of him. I laugh as he wakes up and turns over to see Haven on his back, smirking at him. He grabs her and throws her on the sofa and tickles her until she can't breathe. He puts her on his shoulders and carries her to the living room and I follow
"That was a good nap, wouldn't you say?" Nolan asks and Haven just sits on his shoulders and plays with his hair while she giggles every time he pretended to be hurt by her. Their bond was unbreakable and they just met 3 weeks ago.
"Come on, it's time to get Zealand" I said, laughing and Nolan looks up and Haven looks down and they look at each other
"Time to get your brother, munchkin" Nolan says and takes her off his shoulders and throws her on the couch while she laughs. Never again since they met has Haven stopped laughing and giggling. He made everything a game and always made her laugh. They were inseparable, I couldn't help but laugh every time they see each other because it's the cutest thing ever.
Nolan helps Haven get her shoes on and jacket and they head to the car. I get in and drive us to the school. We wait for Zealand to run out. I spot Zealand and call him over to us. He runs into my arms and gives me a big hug. He gives Nolan a fist bump and hugs his baby sister.
"We learned about the letter H today" he tells me and I smile
"Like Haven" I tell him and he nods
"Yeah, and Hayes" he adds and I nod
"That's a good letter" I say and he agrees. We go home and I get Haven and Zealand in their pjs and we sadly have to say goodnight to Nolan as he leaves. Haven is the first to give him a big hug
"Bye bye" she says as she waves to him and he gives her a little peck on the cheek
"Bye bye Haven" he says back and puts her down and hugs Zealand "bye bye Z man" he says
"Bye bye Nolan" Zealand says and Nolan hugs me and kisses me and leaves. I close the door and Haven cries... She did this every time Nolan left. She loved him so much and I knew that he was perfect because she wanted to see him all the time and laugh with him.
I've never got her to laugh in 1 whole year as much as he has in 3 weeks. I loved the bond they have and it didn't even take long, that's how I know it's meant to be.
