Claire's POV
I decided not to have a big party for Zealand like I usually do, I decided to have a small family gathering at the park with just my mom and siblings and Eileen. I invited Ezra's mom, but she had to work, it was ok though.
I bought Zealand a small dinosaur cake with his name on it and brought it to the park. Eileen brought her gift and Neo brought his for Zealand. My mom came along with Scott and Alice. We all sang happy birthday and Zealand blew out his 3 candles and we all clapped, though Zealand didn't clap along this time. I have Zealand Eileen and Neo's presents first and then he opened mom's. They were all dino themed presents which were super cool just for him.
We ate the cake and the kids played at the park while we talked and had a good time together. Overall, it was not as overwhelming for me since it was a small gathering instead of a huge birthday party for Zealand.
I was really glad Zealand was getting older and doing more things for himself, but I miss my baby. Good thing I'm having a girl so I'll be able to have more baby cuddles and Zealand can have a little sister to protect.
