Later that night...

Claire's POV

We walked outside and I was holding on to Nolan's arm. It was cold outside so he let me borrow his jacket. I rest my head on his arm as we walked to my car. I saw Eileen talking to Marcus and I looked up at Nolan. He was so much taller than me even when I'm in heels. I smile

"I had a great night tonight" I tell him

"Me too" he smiles and I look down

"You wanna hang out again sometime... Maybe go on a second date?" I asked, I liked him alot, I know it's only the first date, but it went so well

"Yeah, I can pick you up tomorrow night if you want and we can go... See a movie or something" he says and I smile

"I can meet you instead" I say, not telling him about the kids and he smiles

"How's 6:30?" He asks and I nod

"Yeah, great" I tell him and he smiles

"Its a date" he says and hugs me and I hug him back. It felt good being in someone's arms again other than my 4 year old's arms. Then he helps me in my car and waves to me and leaves.

I drive to Eileen's mom's house. My little puppy dogs (Z & Haven) meet me at the door and I pick them up and hug them.

"I missed you two" I hug them and kiss their heads

"We missed you too Mommy" Zealand says and I kiss him again

"Did you have fun with Neo?" I asked and he nodded

"Yes Mommy" he says and I let go of him and he looks at me "who's jacket is that Mommy?" He asks and I look down. I forgot to give Nolan his jacket back

"Oh, it's no one's honey" I tell him "put your jacket on, baby" I say and he smiles

"Ok Mommy" he says and starts putting his shoes on. I sigh and put Haven down on the ground and hug Eileen's mom

"Thanks for watching them" I say "I really appreciate it"

"They were no trouble" she says and I smile

"That's good" I sigh in relief and Zealand gets his jacket on and smiles up at me. I rub his head and smile down at him

"Ready Mommy" he says and I pick Haven up

"Will you be ok to babysit them tomorrow?" I ask and he smiles

"Another date already?" She asks and I smile back

"Yes , tomorrow at 6:30" I tell her

"It will be no trouble, bring them over" she says and I nod

"Thank you" I say and she walks us out and I get the kids in the car and leave.
