Claire's POV
Today is Thanksgiving and Eileen invited me over to her house to spend Thanksgiving with her. Eileen and I were starting to drift apart, but ever since her pregnancy announcement, we have never been closer.
Me and Nolan were gonna go over there together. Him and Marcus are really good buddies and we almost just feel like a little family together... We might end up being the next full house family and just live all together😂
I got Haven dressed in her little turkey shirt and Zealand in his matching shirt. They looked so cute together. Nolan came over shortly after and gasped when he saw them together.
"Dang, I wished I looked that cute when I was little" Nolan said and I laughed
"Ikr, aren't they so cute?" I agree and he picks Haven up and kisses her cheek
"How's my little munchkin doing?" He asks her and she smiles and kisses his nose... She never did that me... She loves him so much. I grab the mash potatoes and gravy and pumpkin pie. I grab my car keys.
"Ready to go?" I ask Nolan and he nods
"Yep... We're off to see the wizard" he sings as he puts Haven on his shoulders and walks outside "the wonderful wizard of oz" he sings and I laugh as I walk behind him, closing the door after Zealand walks out.
Nolan straps Haven in her carseat and I strap Zealand in to his seat. We get in and I start driving to Eileen's house. I carry the food in and Nolan gets the kids out of the car and walks them inside. I knock on the door, about to drop all the food on the ground. Marcus comes to the door
"Hey" he says and sees me struggling "let me get those for you" he takes the food from me and brings it inside and then comes back outside and closes the door, keeping us outside
"What's wrong?" I ask, he shushes me gently
"I don't want Eileen to hear" he whispers
"Hear what?" I ask and he takes a small box from his pocket
