Claire's POV
Today was my birthday! I was no longer a child. I was 21, an adult now. I was really happy. They say you are still a kid until 21 because then you can finally legally drink alcohol.
Eileen called me and told me she wanted to hang out. She told me in my comment section she wanted to tell me something.
I got the kids ready and we went over to her house. She let us in and I saw Marcus was there. I sat down and put Haven on my lap while Zealand went and played with Neo.
"So, what did you want to tell me?" I ask her and her and Marcus look at each other. I get nervous.
"Claire..." Eileen starts, but stops and pulls something out of her pocket. She hands it to me and I look at it, it was a... Positive pregnancy test
"No way" I say, words couldn't come out. I was so happy for her
"I'm pregnant" she squeals and I smile at her
"Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you" I say and I give her a hug. She was smiling so big and so was I
"Thank you" she says "just know, you are the first one we told" she adds and I laugh
"I was the first one to know about Neo too and we weren't even friends" I say and she giggles
"Ikr, just goes to show how far we've come" she says and I laugh again
"This is the best birthday present I've ever received" I say
"I am known for giving the best gifts" she tells me
