Several months passed and the pair was ready to return to their regular Fatui job. Their injuries have completely healed and now they were able to exercise and get their bodies back to their warrior forms. That, naturally, meant that their Fatui work will no longer stop at signing and reviewing tons of paperwork every day.

"Charlotte?" Ajax opened the door to his office, a letter in his hand.

"Yes?" the girl lifted her eyes up from the new Fatui recruits' biographies.

This room has recently become a shared office for Harbingers. Both of them worked there together every day, helping each other out if needed and sharing laughter.

Tartaglia showed the envelope in between his index and middle finger.

"From Tsaritsa." He placed it down on the table.

"Huh? Did something happen?" Charlotte grabbed the envelope, opened it, and took the letter out.

"Probably?"

Unfolding the paper with an official letter, the girl couldn't help but smile. Tsaritsa's handwriting was beautiful and never failed to impress how equal-sized the letters were.

Tartaglia and Zanni,

Several full moons have passed since you first took the break. From the earlier reports, it becomes clear that the two of you have fully recovered and are now ready to come back to your regular duties. I would like to meet the two of you in the Throne Hall this Friday, right after the sunset.

Best wishes,

Tsaritsa

The surprising part about the letter was that Her Majesty signed it with her own name, not "Cryo Archon" as she usually would. Charlotte couldn't really figure out if it was just a friendly act or something else.

"So... Today?" she looked back up at Childe.

"Seems so."

"And why do we find out about our audience with her today...today?" the girl raised her brow.

"Since most of the family is home, the mailbox is left forgotten. I emptied it a few moments ago... after 2 weeks." Childe shrugged with a smile on his face, making the girl sigh.

"I see... Well, about time to start getting ready. It's already past afternoon."

"Great idea. I will finish your paperwork."

11th and 12th Harbinger watched the last sun rays disappear behind the horizon as they stood next to the entrance leading to the Throne Hall. Tartaglia kept his arm around the girl's shoulders as they shared warmth – both of them decided to go in their usual harbingers uniforms without even thinking that it will be cold.

"Well, there we go..."

"Haha, you look so nervous, girlie. Relax! I'm sure it won't be anything major!"

"My gut is telling me otherwise..." Charlotte sighed, turning around. "Let's go."

Both of them stepped closer to the door, 2 gigantic men with purple uniforms and giant purple hammers looking down at them. Recognizing the Harbingers, they bowed.

"Lord Tartaglia, Lord Zanni... Right on cue."

They opened the door to the Throne Hall. The moment Charlotte got to see what was inside, she felt her throat go dry and eyes widen.

The entire hall was filled with agents, cicin mages, mirror maidens, skirmishers, vanguards, chubby guys with cryo or hydro guns... Not to mention, the rest of the Twelve and her Majesty the Tsaritsa at the front.
