INTERVIEW

Interviewer: So bakit po gan'on 'yong ending? Para po kasing pinapalabas niyo na hindi kayo naniniwala na may forever, wala po ba talagang forever?

Badorita: (Hindi man lang ba ako nito ipapakilala? Interview ba 'to or frank na naman?) Ah. Ganito po kasi .....

Interviewer: Bago niyo po pala sagutin ang bagay na 'yan, sabi rito sa script ipakilala ko raw muna kayo. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, ang author ng my alien soulmate, Badorita!

Badorita: Than..

Interviewer: So, bakit nga po gan'on ang naging ending ng my alien soulmate?

Badorita: (Umbagin ko kaya ang interviewer na 'to, ayaw akong patapusin sa pagsasalita) (Ngiti) Kasi po bago pa man nabuo ang plot ng my alien soulmate, naisip ko ng hatiin ang kwento sa...ahm sabihin na lang natin sa ilang parte.

Interviewer: So may book 2?

Badorita: Yup (tango)..actually, 'yong plot niya ay nabuo na sa isip ko at nasa journal ko na, kailangan ko na lang upuan at isulat ang mga ideya ko at gumawa ng mga magagandang scene.

Interviewer: Kailan mo ipapublish 'yong gawa mo?

Badorita: Ahm..hindi ko pa alam..wala pa siyang manuscript at balak ko munang magpahinga ng mga ilang buwan because I have important things to do outside my writing interest...like finishing my research study and some cases.

Interviewer: Bigyan mo na lang kami ng konting hint sa p'wedeng abangan sa book 2 and what would be the title of book 2? Gan'on pa rin ba?

Badorita: Ah. Sa book 2 magkakaroon ng malaking pagbabago, especially sa setting. Sa book 2 saan kaya makakarating si Abby, it's a secret. Hehehe. Pinag-iisipan ko pa kung ano ang magandang title, but I have this in mind, My Lost Soulmate.

Interviewer: I think, it's wonderful. My Lost Soulmate, are we expecting new characters?

Badorita: Definitely, the gang plus the new characters.

Interviewer: Wow riot na 'to! How about new romance?

Badorita: (Smile) We'll see.

Interviewer: What will happen to Cerus and Vlex? May separate story ba sila?

Badorita: Sa ngayon wala...ayokong magsabi ng tapos..baka kasi magbago ang isip ko at gawan ko sila ng separate story kahit maikli lang parang summary na lang, ganern! might as well Zion and whoever his partner. I-a-announce ko naman siya. The good news is, there are lots of them...you know their cute romance... in the next book. Don't cha worry!

Interviewer: Zion and whoever? You mean, hindi sila ni Zenon?

Badorita: We didn't know what the future holds, bakit sure na ba tayong si Vlex at Cerus nga? Look what happened to Philcan and Abby, future is something beyond what the present tell us and what the past dictates.

Interviewer: Fine! Whatever! Let's talk about Philcan, now that Abby left him with their 3 children, what would possibly next about his character?

Badorita: Philcan's character is dynamic, although he is tough because of his bloodline, an Alpha, we saw his soft side when it comes to his family. I believe he can handle taking care of his children without Abby on his side.

Interviewer: We all know that when someone leaves you, the pain is there, sabi niya nga, and I quote, "Sometimes it's not the goodbyes that hurt but the flashbacks that follow" end of quote. How can his character deals with it?

Badorita: We read in the epilogue, the longingness of Philcan, but Vulcan is there for him, he's a tough guy...Vulcan and Alican are there to help him.

Interviewer: Speaking of Alican, walang sinabi kung buhay ba siya or mamatay na and 'yong isa pang character na minahal na rin namin, si Zenon, what happened to them?

Badorita: Irereveal sa book 2 (ngiti), sa book 2 may scene sa recovery room ng Xenica kung saan ...ops. Basta! (Tawa)

Interviewer: Pag-usapan naman natin si Abby, in the last two chapters, it was revealed that Abby has a dinstinctive characteristic of cells or whatever you call it, may possibilidad bang hindi siya tao?

Badorita: He is a human. Lahat ng mga nalaman natin ay special case or rare phenomenon na nangyayari ang mga iyon sa isang tao. Nagkataon lang na nangyari lahat kay Abby.

Interviewer: I see (tango) but is he a bipolar or may split personality ata siya, parati niya kasing kinakausap ang sarili niya.

Badorita: (Tawa). No, that's only an exaggeratory of writing. Natutuwa kasi ako sa palitan ng mga linya. Ikaw ba hindi mo kinakausap ang sarili mo minsan? Lahat tayo kinakausap ang sarili natin. Si Abby nga lang ay madalas at sumasagot pa talaga.

Interviewer: (Tawa) Guilty. Okay, moving on. May isa pa kaming pinagtataka, 'yong F.E.A.R.S, feeling ko may malaking papel ang organization na iyon sa book 2?

Badorita: (Smile) Secret. Abangan. (Tawa)

Interviewer: Marami talagang dapat abangan.

Badorita: Sana marami pa ring tumangkilik ng book 2.

Interviewer: May gusto ka bang pasalamatan?

Badorita: Madami.

Interviewer: Go ahead.

Badorita: Ahm. Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng mga nagbasa ng My Alien Soulmate, sa lahat ng mga bumoto at naglaan ng oras para tapusin ang Book 1 ng kwento ni Abby at Philcan. Pero hindi pa po tapos ang kwento kung tutuusin hindi pa po nangangalahati ang kwento sa totoong plot o 'yong concept na nabuo ko. Nagpapasalamat din ako na kahit papano naibahagi ko sa iilan ang isa sa mga passion ko, ang pagsusulat. Sana nainspire kayo sa kwento ni Abby na kahit sino ka pa sa lipunan, lalaki, babae, bakla, tomboy, matanda, bata, may kapansanan o wala karapatan mo ang lumigaya, magmahal at mahalin.
