Y/N's POV:

"Sit down, melon head," you say to Seokjin, eyeing the loveseat next to you. "I woke up just to hear you out, so start telling me everything."

He stays frozen for a moment before slowly moving over to the seat beside your hospital bed, keeping his eyes on the ground. As if he's trying to take up as little room as possible, he gently seats himself onto the cushion with his shoulders tensed up and his hands in his lap.

You're in a large suite that Jin probably put you in. To your left are large windows that give you a beautiful view of Seoul's city nightlife. Underneath the windows sits a long black leather couch that people probably sleep on when visiting. You notice there's a pillow and a blanket messily thrown over it, meaning Seokjin most likely hasn't left your side once. There's a bathroom and massive television across from your bed, and then to your right is the entryway and the loveseat Jin's nervously sitting in.

You rest your head against your pillow and take in all of his beautiful features, even when he looks like hell. His skin is paler than usual and his cheeks are a little sunken in. Even though he looks sickly, dressed in another hideous monochromatic sweatsuit, he's still so beautiful, and it makes your heart flutter just being near him.

But there's also that large crater in your chest you can't just ignore.

"Did you find someone less broken?" you ask him, making his teary eyes shoot up to yours.

"What?"

You bite into your cheek and look down at his lap. "Is that why you lied and didn't come home? Is there someone else?"

"N-no," he says frantically, scooting up in his chair. "No, Bug, that's not it at all."

"Then where were you?"

The panicked look in his eyes definitely doesn't make you feel better but you wait patiently as he tries to find the right words.

"I was in a hotel," he says shakily. "By myself."

Tears immediately brim in your eyes and your chest feels like a bowling ball was placed on top of it. "Did you want to get away from me that badly?" you ask so quietly he almost can't hear you. "You could've just asked me to sleep in my own room."

"No, I swear," he chokes out, more tears falling down his cheeks. "It's because I was hiding something from you and I wasn't able to sleep."

You look up at the ceiling and try to blink back your tears but it doesn't work very well as a few stream down the sides of your face. Seokjin shifts uncomfortably, unsure of what to do or say.

"Why were you hiding something from me?"

"Because it might upset you," he mumbles, nervously kneading his hands together. "And I was worried about your mental health because it has to do with..." he pauses, "a bit of a touchy subject."

You glance back over at him and he's not crying anymore, but the look in his eyes makes it seem like he'll start again at any second.

"Are you going to tell me now?" you ask softly. "Or are you going to keep it from me longer?"

"I'll tell you," he murmurs, but he clearly doesn't want to. "But if at any point you feel any sort of panic attack, you have to tell me."

"Okay," you nod.

"I'm serious, [Y/N], you-"

"Seokjin I'm hooked up to a heart monitor," you sigh, nudging your head to the big machine next to you. "This guy will tell you if I'm having one before I can."
