Ch 110 | Withdrawn

Y/N's POV:

Your legs tremble as you make your way to the stand, but Dr. Choi and another officer help you into the chair so you don't fall. Normally people stand when testifying in this courtroom but you were given clearance to sit down for medical reasons. Once you're settled, you thank them and nervously smooth your hands over your black sweater dress, trying not to let anyone see how fucking terrified you are.

"I'm glad you were able to join us today," Judge Man grins from your left. His warm and kind eyes relax you instantly, and he can probably tell how anxious you are. He's dressed in that same black and maroon robe over his white button down and black slacks, his round face and receding hairline looking the exact same as it did as last time.

"Thank you," you say, giving him a small smile. "I'm sorry I couldn't make it last week."

"Don't you worry about that," he chuckles, relaxing everyone in the room. "Your safety and health come first. Mr. Kim and his lawyer handled everything just fine, so don't be too nervous."

Even though you're nervous as hell to relive some of the worst moments of your life, you're ready to get this day over with. It has been five days since you woke up and thankfully Dal woke up the day after you did. He most definitely wanted to appear in court and give his testimony right along with you but he was too drugged up to even move from his bed, let alone be released. He is still heavily medicated due to his pain level so he wasn't able to come with you, and you can tell that he feels awful for that.

Hoseok, being the good boyfriend he is, decided he didn't want Dal to be alone while he was feeling helpless. He chose to stay with him at the hospital so they could watch the live stream of the trial together. You know Dal is upset that he couldn't be there with you to support you, but with the amount of pain meds in his system he's having trouble even talking, let alone doing anything else. You assured him that you'd be okay, that you have a good support system, and that you know his heart will be with you the whole time.

Jin already testified, going into detail about his relationship with Ma-Ri, telling everyone how everything between them was consensual and how bat shit crazy she was, and he also detailed what happened that led up to the stabbing. The defense surprisingly didn't have that many questions for him, only asking some simple questions about being rough in the bedroom. They also asked him about planting the condoms but of course he firmly denied it.

Now it's your turn. First you'll be questioned by Ji-Ho, and then by Mr. Park.

You glance at Seokjin and he reaches his hand into his jacket pocket before pulling out a finger heart, making you bite into your lip to stop yourself from laughing. Of course he's able to be a dork in this situation.
