Challenging each other

From my BTH Bingo 2 collection. :)

Concerned about his coffee drinking, Hetty challenged Granger to give up drinking coffee for a day. And withdrawal was starting to set in after a couple of hours.

'He was giving me very grumpy looks and at 1 point, I thought he was going to slap me! Seriously, what is up with him?!' Eric asked, frazzled.

'Oh dear, I thought the coffee withdrawal would start later.' Hetty muttered.

'What?'

'He's attempting to give up coffee for 1 day, and it doesn't look like he's taking it well.'

'Why would you do that?' He asked? 'That would be like asking you to give up tea!'

'Because I'm a bit concerned about how much coffee he's been drinking lately. Coffee can be a bit addicting, and it can affect their sleeping patterns. I gave him the challenge because I want to see if he can survive without coffee for a day.' Hetty replied.

'Aren't you concerned about him possibly cheating?'

'Not to worry, someone is keeping an eye on him.'

Evening, Hetty's office.

'Well, I hear you passed my challenge! I'm proud of you, Owen.' Hetty remarked.

'I've been resisting the urge to punch so something all day, you better be!' Granger grumbled.

'Look, coffee can be quite addicting! I wanted to see if you weren't as addicted as I thought you were.'

'Well, I snapped at everyone all day, thought I was going to fall asleep, that enough to prove I'm not completely addicted to coffee?!'

'Yes, I can see. Could do without the moodiness though.' Hetty pointed out.

'You know something. I'm now suddenly concerned about your tea addiction. Here's a challenge for you: You give up tea all day tomorrow, and I promise to do a real cut back on coffee. Deal?' Granger offered, sounding competitive.

'Oh, you really want to make that bet? Fine! I'll go along with your dumb challenge! In fact, I'll go hide all my tea here right now! You're not gonna beat me that easily, Owen Granger!' Hetty replied, all cocky like.

The next day, it produced more scary results of withdrawal then the previous day!

'Pissy mood all day, intense case making it worse, been in the gym almost all day because taking your feelings out on the equipment or with bullets keeps your mind off tea. Wow! Guess we both hate having to go without our favorite drinks for a day.' Granger remarked.

'I, hate, you!' Hetty grumbled while relaxing her sore muscles.

'I love you too, just so you know.'

'Yeah yeah yeah, just get me my tea!'
