The Private Log of the Operations Manager.

Evening.

I was enjoying a book when Owen came to me wanting to dwell on an old memory:

'Say, you remember that time we went to Iran to track down international traitors?' He asked me.

'Ah, I remember! Those thugs never saw us coming.' I responded with a slight snicker. 'I also remember your attempts at swooning.'

He was a bit perplexed at that.

'How is 'I see the danger, it's written in your eyes' a bad attempt at swooning?!'

I laughed. He can be so silly at times. 'I thought it was flattering, and a bit cheesy.'

He scoffed. 'I take it you also liked the part where I got my face smashed in by brass knuckles then?!'

'Don't be ridiculous, Owen. I shot that thug 3 times for what he did to you! I gave you an ice pack afterwards.'

'So, how is my swooning cheesy then?'

I rolled my eyes. Men, I tell you!

'I want to finish this book now, can we talk more later?' I asked.

'Yeah okay. But still, you like my swooning. I've seen you get flushed when I quote romantic song lyrics to you!' He said.

'Just go!'

I'll admit, I admire his romance attempts, but gosh, he can sound so silly sometimes! It probably won't be much longer before he starts reciting Lady Gaga lyrics to me in the most headache inducing way!
