1 thing that Granger never thought he'd love, was feeling happy when Hetty woke up next to him instead of her side of the bed.

Whether it be when she was having a bad dream, or rolled over to his side, or just wanted to snuggle, waking up and seeing her so close to him, was very comforting.

At first, he was uncomfortable with being so close to her, but over time, and with having to comfort her after a few bad dreams, he grew to love it.

Tonight, he had woken, and Hetty was asleep and was holding his arm. And he couldn't help but smile. To everyone else, she was the scariest, toughest, and bravest human they had ever known, to him, she was his doting, beautiful, and loving wife who could show her emotional side with him.

'I'm not sure if you're having a bad dream, or if you just rolled over, but I'm very happy that you've chosen to sleep this close to me tonight.' He softly said.

'Mmm. That's nice to know.' She sleepily replied.

'Oh, I didn't mean to wake you.'

'That's okay. I was awake anyways. And, I must have just rolled over.'

'Well, that's nice either way.' Granger said.

'It took me a while as well to get used to waking up next to you, but, sigh (nuzzling into his shoulder). It is so comforting to have someone who legit loves you be there for you when you wake up.' Hetty sweetly replied.

Smiling. 'Yeah, it really is.'

Later that morning

Rubbing her cheek. 'Wakey wakey sleepyhead.'

'Mmm! Good morning, dear.' Hetty sleepily replied.

'Feels like 1 of those mornings where everything feels right, huh?'

'It is. Well, until our cellphones ring calling us into work.'

'Oh, that. Well, let's enjoy the peace and quiet while we still can.' Then he gave her a big kiss.

Smiling. 'I'd love nothing more then to keep on kissing you, but I should get breakfast on.'

'Okay. I'll meet you downstairs.'
