1 of their neighbors was taking a weekend vacation, and Hetty agreed to look after his dog.
'Okay, this dog requires a morning walk each day. We'll take turns on that. I'll walk him tomorrow, and you'll do it on Sunday. Deal?' She asked.
'Wish you would've consulted me on this before you said yes.' Granger replied.
'Nothing wrong with doing a nice thing for a neighbor.'
The next day, Hetty walked the dog with no problems, and also seemed to really be enjoying herself while taking care of it.
'This should be nice.' Granger thought.
But the next day, not only did Granger have to chase him up the block, the dog growled at him a lot and didn't want to play fetch.
'How is it that that dog likes you but hates me?' How?!' Granger asked.
'Maybe it's because of my good looks. (smirks).' Hetty replied.
'Be serious.'
'Okay, maybe the dog can sense my gentleness and feels more secure with me. You're um, not exactly the most gentle looking soul, if you get what I mean.'
'You're more hard tempered then me when you're in a bad mood. How does that make you softer then me?' Granger asked, unamused.
Smirks. 'You are so cute when you're trying to be funny.' Hetty replied, very amused.
