Back when they were dating...
'Okay, you're acting really weird. Either you let me in the door now, or I'll just find another way in.' Hetty said when she came home.
Sighs. 'Okay, I have a confession to make. I wanted to make you a cake, but I didn't want to risk messing up the kitchen. So, I asked Nell and Eric for help. But as it turned out, they are way worse at cake making then I'll ever be! 1 thing led to another, and now the whole kitchen is basically a food crime scene!' Granger rambled.
Stunned silence.
'You're mad, aren't you?'
'No, you were trying to bake a cake for me? What's the occasion?' Hetty asked.
'I just, wanted to make something nice for you. And instead the kitchen is a whole mess.' Granger unhappily replied.
'Well, it was very nice of you to try and do that, and I appreciate it very much. Just how bad is the kitchen anyway?' Hetty asked.
It was a huge mess. Flour, sugar everywhere, egg yolks scattered.
'Ohhh. Wow, wow! I wager a food fight erupted in here?' Hetty asked, really stunned.
'Yup. And I'm a bit ashamed to admit I threw a few eggs.' Granger replied.
'Well, if we're going to clean all this up, we're going to have to get started. You take 1 area and I'll take the other.'
