1 morning, Hetty came downstairs to a note scribbled on the table in what looked like Morse Code. She smiled and went into the study.
'Really dear? Asking me to buy more coffee using our secret language? You that silly?' She asked.
Granger looked up from his papers. 'I'm surprised you still remember that language. 2Nd, If I casually asked you to buy me coffee, you'd probably say no. Am I right?'
Hetty snickered. 'Didn't we agree to only use that secret language in emergencies?'
'I get cranky when I have to get coffee from a shop. The lines are often long, and that new barista they hired is terrible! And the coffeemaker at work is always being used. I think that constitutes as an emergency.'
Hetty shook her head in amusement, then left to go to the store.
When she came home, she saw another note on the table.
Smiling, she went back into the study.
'You remembered the secret words for the 3 words?' She sweetly asked.
'Of course. Those were some of the 1st words you taught me when we made that language.' Granger replied.
'Really? I thought it was all the swear words that we know of.'
Then they both chuckled.
