Kissing your sweetie was a beautiful, intimate thing. Unless the person you're kissing forgot to clean up his breath before putting his succulent tongue in your mouth.
At home
Pulling away. 'Mmm! Ugh, sorry Owen. But until you clean your breath, I'm not giving you another kiss.' Hetty said.
'But I ran out of my good mouthwash and it's raining outside.' Granger complained.
'Your loss then.'
Knowing that she would probably poke his eyes out if he tried to kiss her anyways, Granger braved the elements, and a really long line at the grocery store, all to get the mouthwash he liked so Hetty would let him kiss her.
'Gotta say, your commitment to letting you kiss me is quite amendable. Except did you have to muddy up my rug in the process?' Hetty asked when he came home dripping wet.
'Hey, anything for love, right?' He replied.
Hetty chuckled.
Sure enough, the mouthwash worked, and Hetty approved of his very fresh breath.
'You smell delicious.' She whispered.
