Merry Christmas! This little gem is from my Flufftober 2023 collection.

It was the annual Christmas party. Hetty decided to go upstairs, and Granger followed.
'We have quite the little family, don't we?' He asked.
'Yes, we do indeed!' Hetty happily replied.
'1 question though: Did you plan for this to happen? Everyone getting along so well, us being together, you're quite the little matchmaker, it wouldn't surprise me much.'
Hetty blushed. 'I chose my team the way I did because I saw that they were the best to their abilities. Them getting along so well was up to them.'
'Yeah, I'm not entirely sure of that.'
'As for us, well. It happened on it's own.'
Even Granger didn't really believe that.
'Sigh. Okay fine! Maybe I brought this team together because I could see how they might get along! Ya happy?'
Granger laughed.
'That sounded quite weird, didn't it?' Hetty asked.
'A bit. I've just known you long enough to suspect when you're up to your tricks.' Granger replied.
'I didn't trick you into loving me, if that is what you're suggesting.'
'I know. I tricked myself, and I'm happy for it.'
Hetty smiled at him. 'I tricked myself as well, and I don't regret it either.'
