'Would you quit flinching?! It'll only hurt more if you don't stay still!' Hetty exclaimed.
'I can't help if it hurts!' Granger shouted.
'Look, I get that it hurts, but this isn't the 1st time I've pulled a bullet out of anyone, especially you! Can you please trust me enough to safely pull that slug out of your leg so I don't have to call for help?'
Granger agreed. But when Hetty started to dig again, he went right back to flinching.
'Oh where is that damn sedative?!' She thought in frustration.
Eventually, she got the bullet out, right when Callen came with in with a sedative, which Hetty didn't hesitate into jamming into him.
'Thank you! I wasn't sure how much longer I could take him flinching and hollering.' Hetty said, relieved.
'I thought he was supposed to have a similar pain tolerance level to yours?' Callen asked.
'Oh please! He only thinks he's as good with pain management as I am. In reality, when it comes to certain body parts and dealing with them, he'll squeal like a baby without drugs!'
'Ouch. How did he last so long in the spy business with you?'
'He's a stubborn old fool. Now help me get him over to the couch.' Hetty finished.
