Shoulder clutching

From my Swoon June 2023 collection.

Hetty was worried to see Granger return to work clutching his shoulder.

'Who did this to you?' She asked.

'Oh you know, just your typical suspect punching me in the shoulder, causing it to hurt.' Granger cynically replied.

'I got some cooling pads that can help with the pain.'

2 minutes later.

'Feel good?' Hetty asked, lightly rubbing his shoulder.

'Yeah, thank you.' Granger replied.

'That's good to hear.' Then she started to hum.

'That's nice. What is that song?'

'Oh, just something I came up with.' Then she smiled.

'If you want to kiss me, just come over here.'

'Ah, I'm not really in a kissing mood.' Then she sat on his lap and gently laid her head on his chest.

Gently smiling at her. 'Hetty?'

'Yes?' She softly asked.

'Has your nose always looked that big?'

Hetty chuckled. 'You're lucky I'm in too good of a mood to be insulted by that.'

Touched by her gentleness and sweet laugh, Owen then rested his head on hers, enjoying the quiet moment between them.
