From my Summer of Whump 2022 collection
One night, Granger woke up to the sound of the fan running. He turned and saw Hetty sitting up in front of the fan while being naked!
'Wow! Um, are you okay? Or am I dreaming?' He asked, stuttering.
'You're not dreaming, and while I know you're thinking I look like a hot stud with my hair blowing. But the truth is I woke up feeling really warm and I need to cool off.' Hetty replied.
'Don't hot flashes stop after a certain age?'
'Don't know. Just go back to sleep.'
He did. Then 2 hours later, he woke up again and saw Hetty was asleep, this time with a light nightgown and the fan still going.
'Still warm? You know, I know of a great way to cool off.' Then he felt her warm forehead.
'Jeez! No wonder you were warm! You feeling okay?' He asked, concerned.
'Already checked, it's nothing serious. Just feeling warm and not much of an appetite.' She muttered.
'Anything I can do for you?'
'Just make me something cold and let the team know I'm staying home today.'
'Got it. And, about last night...'
'Please. If you think that was weird, you should've seen me during menopause. Sometimes, I'd sleep without clothes on for days! (chuckle).' Hetty chuckled.
'Too much information.' Granger thought as he walked away.
Granger took care of her for the rest of the day. And thankfully, she kept her clothes on!
That evening
'Tired of feeling hot and sticky?' He asked.
'What do you think?' Hetty grumbled.
'Well, if it's any consolation, this is the most action that fan has gotten all year.'
Hetty shot him a dirty look.
'Not in the mood for jokes. I see.'
