While they were at the store, it started to rain. And because she didn't bring an umbrella, Hetty and Granger had to share one.
'Just out of curiosity, did you really forget to bring an umbrella, or did you leave it behind on purpose?' Granger asked as they walked to the car.
'And what makes you think I would do that?' Hetty asked.
'Because you always try to be the smartest person in the room, and I doubt you would ever leave an umbrella behind when you know there was a chance of rain.
'Hmm. Ever think that maybe you might be smarter then me with that claim?'
Granger chuckled. 'Not a chance! I know you're smarter then me in a lot of fields.'
'Okay then, then can you guess why I left my umbrella behind?' Hetty asked.
'I'm guessing it has to do with you enjoying being close to me?'
'See! You're not as dumb as you say.'
Granger smiled at her cuteness.
