Crack! 'Yaugh!!'
On the living room couch.
'Is there anymore ice?! I'm in agony over here!' Granger moaned.
'That's all I could find. Sure hope those pain meds start working eventually.' Hetty replied.
'You sound displeased.'
'Well jeez! I told you not to lift those heavy boxes like that because I was worried about your back! I'm not displeased, just disappointed. And worried!'
'Gee, sorry I'm such a disappointment then!'
Silence.
'Sorry. I'm just really sore and moody.' Granger mumbled.
'That's okay. I just don't like seeing you in so much pain. And before you give me that weird look, you would feel the same about me if I was the sore one.' Hetty replied.
Warm smile. 'How do you always know what to say?'
'I don't know. (rubbing his shoulders). It's just something I know how to do. And I will gladly do it for you anytime you need it.'
